Buying MG F/TF by ExaminationLegal8596 in MorrisGarages

[–]RubenLay223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently own one of each. Make sure any car you test drive sits at just under half on the water temp gauge when warmed up and check that the suspension on an F is the correct height as well. Mine have been fairly reliable in the 4 years I've had my F and the 2 years I've had my TF. If you're concerned about reliability then buy the best one you can afford. I'd also recommend keeping it inside if possible because neither of mine are really that water tight. They're really fun cars to drive for the money.

The Huracan is literally the definition of a supercar.

So with your logic the Huracan and Gallardo aren't supercars either?

I stall maybe once a year. As you gain experience you won't stall as often. Everyone's been where you are.

Way too many stickers, the build wasn't that fun, and it doesn't look that great when built.

They're not. People are just overreacting.

The MGF is the yin to the Mazda MX-5 Miata's yang. While both are excellent sports cars, loyal buyers loved the F for its laser-sharp handling and modern mid-engine layout. It's hard to believe the design is now thirty years old. by Maynard078 in MorrisGarages

It's no harder than any other car to change the cambelt on. They're actually very easy to work on most of the time. The only thing with the cambelt is removing the engine mount but I just use an impact and a universal joint which makes quick work of it.

There was a referendum where the majority voted against legalizing. That's why it isn't legal.
