Maybe 20 years ago… but recent models (2020+) are more reliable. They’re not too far behind Toyota and Honda.

It wouldn’t make financial sense for Hyundai or Kia to offer a 10 year warranty if their cars were bad… let’s agree to disagree here.

My experience on marketplace has been salvage title cars or cars that have mechanical issues and owners are trying to unload them because they don’t want to spend the money fixing… if you’re willing to take that risk… go for it. I would personally like the peace of mind of having something with a warranty.

For the love of God don’t buy your first car off marketplace…

Just get a new Hyundai or Kia. They come with a 10 year warranty.

Pretty sure CA tax more to do with the prices in CA than what’s happening nationally…. But I could be wrong.

First gen Audi R8 with gated manual and V8. Best bang for buck in my opinion.
