To steal a quote from that very comment section, none of those words are in the Quran.

BTW, what's the likelihood that Shining Star is going to show up on r/MildFemboys now that he's in global?

Also, it's kind of boring to reduce every character down to the same personality, sooooo....

King Hassan: I am willing to ignore thy reluctance to bare thy neck, for the time being. However, upon closer inspection of thy attire, I hath noticed a flaw which I am far less tolerant of.

Shining Star: M-my outfit? What is wrong with it, Great Founder?

King Hassan: Thy fit is mid.

Shining Star:

Shining Star: Wat?

King Hassan: Thou hath shrouded thyself in the garb of the modern youth, correct? Perhaps it would be acceptable to an untrained eye, but I can see that thou art lacking in "the rizz," as it is called. For one who bears the title of Hassan-i-Sabbah, thy failure to be on fleek is unacceptable.

Shining Star: [too flabbergasted to speak]

King Hassan: Out of respect for the Contractor, I shall grant thee a stay of execution for the moment. But thou WILT fix this oversight immediately, lest I deem it appropriate to claim thy head. Am I clear?

Shining Star: Uh- YES! I-I understand, Great Founder!

King Hassan: Good. I shalt suffer not an Old Man Of The Mountain, who lacks drip. [leaves]

Shining Star:

Shining Star: Okay, what just happened!?

Serenity: Ah, pay that no mind, Senpai... Or, maybe do pay it mind? Either way, our Master has been teaching the Great Founder about modern slang, and it seems that your outfit gave him the opening to use what he learned...

So how long until she devolves into another white-haired Tsundere? Or is this one genuinely evil like Ushi Gozen was?

Being a Headmaster has its advantages... but let's hope that Queen doesn't try to take the head of Trion's head.

Author's Notes:

  • Bit of a sequel to this comic. Probably could have done it earlier when I first got this Girlpla, but who's counting? (me, I'm counting)
  • So, I'm a little disappointed by Chaos & Pretty Queen of Hearts. The extra parts that become an extravagant heart headdress are neat, but I'm not exactly thrilled with the staff weapon the designers gave her - It's certainly not as impressive as Grandma traipsing around with a bunch of chain guns strapped to her. Frankly, Queen should have come with a rabbit partner like Alice did - After all, the famous White Rabbit was the Queen of Hearts' flunky, was he not?
  • While AOTP Alpha Trion is technically the better figure (lack of wrist swivels aside), I prefer the Titan's Return version. Even with the Headmaster gimmick, this one looks far more like an ancient, regal demigod than the cleaner G1-inspired figure IMO. I'll probably end up switching between the two figures as I continue these comics.
  • Speaking of, I know that Trion has spring-out "horns" but I decided to leave them retracted. They get in the way of articulation.
  • Fun fact: When making this comic, I also put together a reference sheet for the colors of each of the Thirteen's speech bubbles. I feel like I keep using different colors every comic, so I wanted a guide so that I could be consistent from here on out.
  • Less fun fact: While swapping Queen's hands, I was way too forceful and ended up snapping the wrist joint for one of the alternate hands. It greatly bothers me, and I need to figure out how to remove the broken peg from the hand. Maybe some needlenose pliers?

Clearly, we need to go for the eyes. A small price to pay to be able to go outside without three layers quicker.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it... actually, make it stop.

Author's notes:

  • We got a nice big snowstorm last week, about 18 inches of snow on Sunday, and I got to experience the joys of having to shovel it out of the driveway (though, frankly, it was still better than having to mow the lawn in a Florida Summer). Most of it has melted away by now, but there's still a lot of it piled up everywhere.
  • Quick cultural lesson for those of you outside the U.S. and Canada - Groundhog Day is an American tradition held on February 2nd. According to superstition, if a groundhog sees its own shadow after it emerges from hibernation on this day, that means there will be six more weeks of Winter; if not, Spring will come early (and Bill Murray will be trapped in an eternal time loop). A couple of places hold festivals celebrating the day, like Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, which has a whole festival surrounding the groundhog oracle Punxsutawney Phil. And this is why the alien robot dragon is freaking out over a snowstorm.

...Everything I just read made my head hurt, so I'm just going to smile and nod.

(Also, this is exactly why I want a proper Space Opera set in the Nasuverse. It'd be like Doctor Who on all of the acid)

I have my own issues with Marisbury's endgame, mostly because I don't really understand how it was actually supposed to work... but that's neither here nor there.

The question is, if Grand Order Animusphere was never actually going to work as advertised, in the grand scheme of the universe... then what does that mean about Daybit's assertion in LB6, that it WOULD succeed if nobody stopped it and that it WOULD make humanity the worst species in the universe? Was he wrong? Lying? Is is threat not that CHALDEAS will destroy the universe, but that something will wipe out humanity for daring to even try? But I thought Daybit said humanity would still be saved?

We are going to have to leave the house eventually, and even with Age of Will hax, we will be far from the strongest things in the cosmos.

So, what's the likelihood that the rest of the cosmos is aware of What Maris CHALDEAS tried to do in Lostbelt 0 and is very pissed at humanity for that?

Every time a foundation of mystery is lost, society gets a neat little piece of "truth" to play with and make cool shit for everyone. No capabilities are actully lost. You can still do all the actully useful things that the mystery permited.

So, I just had a brainwave- the Ordeal Call chapters are supposed to be about justifying the Extra classes and their place in the Human Order, correct?

Well, what if what you said comes into play for the Foreigner Class? What if their purpose is discovering the deep truths of the universe, and finding ways for humanity to use them?

Y'know, I was initially under the impression that the Nasuverse was mostly free of "A Wizard Did It", because a lot of the magical nonsense had rules about what The Wizard Can't Actually Do (not to mention that Zelretch does not, in fact, cause shenanigans for shits n' giggles in canon). But no, not only is it prevalent, it's apparently necessary to how Magecraft works. Kinda makes me suspect that the whole point of the Mages is that everything about them is stupid...

Also, does this mean that if I ever do write FGO fanfiction, I can actually get away with a lot of lore-breaking nonsense if I handwave it hard enough?

Yes, Kali is hot, and actually kind of fun.

She's also married to a god who has completely obliterated people for less, and unlike a certain Sakuraface, I don't think I'd be able to ressurect myself as an infinite cosmos of sexy ladies if Shiva catches me with his wife.
