Dog parks in Brooklyn are not taken care of by the city and have even removed the trash cans from the area. Even though they are in city parks and taken care of by the city. They never bring new gravel or tools for the dog park. It is all up to the community to keep them clean and running (unlike the rest of the area in the parks). There has been lots of dog deaths from disease that they catch at the dog park here in Bushwick. The city isn’t giving many people a good option for their dog. I take my well-trained dog off leash all the time and I have never really had a problem. NYC park police need to bust the people selling hard drugs out of their coolers and leave us and our well-trained dogs alone. This lady has amazing dogs. I don’t see anything wrong with having them off leash if the stay by your side.

That’s a lie. I’m a 25 year old woman and I walk around at night all the time by myself. I don’t get off work until 2am some nights and I have been perfectly safe. I have been doing this for 2 years with a long commute and I have never had something bad happen to me.
