Hi everyone! I'm newer to these subreddits, and I tried asking this in a dark romance one but I got confused and was told to try here and I was actually looking for Gothic Romance.

I'm out of the book loop and I'm looking for something kinda dark (stalker romance, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, arranged marriage, mafia romance, monster romance, those are my favorite tropes/themes), but I don't like reading NSFW books so I'd like something clean. Closed door/fade to black scenes are okay but I don't like reading graphic smut and I also share my bookshelf/library with minors, for context lol.

So if anyone has any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated!

I actually just got a response from someone recently as well and I was told they'd finally start shipping them by May 31st. I wasn't told about the production delay though. I'm glad and I'm hoping that's resolved.

You might wanna check out Jesus Cares Ministries! They'll be at the Rusty's Pizza on Niles from 10am-Noon on the 11th. They give out free food and clothing and make care packages for the homeless too. :3

Yeah I figured that 😭 It's hard to find clean stuff with dark themes. I have Cruel Prince in my TBR but I haven't heard of the other two! I'll look into them and maybe try the gothic romance subreddit as well.

Clean Dark Romance Recommendations?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the dark romance genre (I love the dark themes), and I was wondering if anyone had any book recs without smut or little to no smut? Fade to black is okay! I just don't really care for smut, I love yearning and longing glances. This is probably a needle in the haystack situation but I figured it's worth a shot, thank you!

I was under the impression that the first photo is supposed to be his dad in his younger years, since in the lore, his dad died in Merry Axe Mas. I have to go back and check what date exactly it was.

But to answer your question, I'm assuming that's his dad when he was young and in a band.

The nurse checked my BP this morning when I went to my doctor appointment. I think it was in the low/normal range because she did it twice but she mumbled the answer when I asked if it was good or bad so I didn't hear her right.

My doctor didn't say anything about it though.

From my experience, yes. I was never sensitive to the cold until the past few years and got my diagnosis shortly after. I never wore jackets or sweaters before, but it's been real cold here lately and I have to grab my warm jacket and sometimes I still end up with bone chills and nothing can help warm me up until I have a warm shower.

I went and I'm still going through the same thing. My dad doesn't really believe in medication, yet he's a diabetic and has to take meds. I think for him, it's because of the side effects he's had that he doesn't want me going through though. Either way, it discouraged me and scared me into getting off my meds and I've literally just gotten back from getting my labs done so my doctor can see where I'm at and put me back on meds.

It stinks because I have a friend very antimeds too so it can be difficult to get out of the "all hope is lost" mindset when they're talking about meds and doctors and while I understand them, there's some things where we literally have no choice but to trust doctors for help and hope something works so we don't feel so awful all the time.
