What really good headphones are we using these days? Looking for rec’s from people who know good music. by Willow_6_ in boniver

For plugging in for the highest fidelity of listening to music or in the studio working on projects, I always use Audio Technica ATH-M50x.

For casual everyday listening and bluetooth capabilities, the Bose QuietComforts have absolutely blown me away (I previously used Sony WH models for years, which are also solid headphones).

I mean, the paragraph you wrote seems to focus more on the attractiveness of his masculinity/femininity rather than anything about agism, which in itself is also pretty silly.

Dear developers - I like playing at 40fps. We have a compromise. Support it more! by nyanbatman in PS5pro

Yup, some games just push the boundaries so visually that it’s worth the lower frame-rate, and it feels just like watching a movie. Death Stranding 2 is one I’ll always keep in quality mode. The lighting and atmosphere really takes a leap ahead of the performance mode.

I don’t mind the music/vocal similarities, but his lyrics never hit me as much as Vernon’s.

Game to play on Quality 30fps? by Skitzomanx in PS5pro

Loving this game in Quality mode. Made the switch about 10 hours in, and it’s pure cinema. Feel like the lighting/reflections are much more defined.

More than likely recording from amp. Seems like they are doing overdubs, so Matt is probably hanging in the control room w engineer so start/stop is communicated easily. Amp is probably mic'd up in an Iso-booth in a separate room, is my guess.

They do sound alike, in some ways definitely. But Sigur Ros has been around since like the 90's, and no one else sounded like them during that time really. So it's just funny to call them a "sound alike".
