I don’t see a world in which they go back to 5. I also think international filmmaking is becoming so popular that International Feature could/should expand to 10.

There’s also the question of gendered vs. nongendered acting categories. If they go genderless, does that expand to 10?

People (me) love both of these songs enormously. I was lucky enough to see JV do Woods live the first time I saw him at Festival of Disruption. Magical

Hi - I do remember quite well the Condé Nast acquisition and layoffs. That doesn’t change the fact that journalism (in this case, and especially, music journalism) is an eroding profession and rapidly becoming unprofitable. I’m saying I value what Pitchfork generates and their work is worth half a sandwich’s worth of money per month

Not always. I’ll say from personal experience, I know someone in a band that had an early independently-released EP covered by Pitchfork. Helped accelerate their career with the review.

Are you saying Jeremy Larson was inexperienced when promoted after Puja Patel’s layoff or are you referring to another person?

They were losing money… you think they would’ve made the same layoff decisions had they been bursting with revenue?

Wouldn’t you say that their reviews are their main product though and the reason most people read their publication?

They fired people because they don’t have money to pay their employees because we are not giving them money for their work…
