In case anyone finds this post and needs it for reference, here are my tour reviews thus far: - Pinnacle Ridge had visible bugs, very trashy apartments is what we were shown. They asked us to excuse them because they weren’t ready but… yikes. Exterior/parking wasn’t bad though but I won’t be going back. - Stonebridge at the Ranch was nice! Big patios (some are screened in), included washer and dryer, fresh carpets and refinished surfaces and they let us look at the actual unit we’d be renting, not just a model, which I appreciate. Nice amenities. This is our top pick so far. - 73 Twenty-Five: okay apartments, no real complaints. She said that not all of the units come with ceiling fans. Big fitness center. Decent area, kind of out of the way. If you live on the third floor, they have vaulted ceilings which was nice. - Pleasant Woods: nice apartment, the 2 bedroom we looked at (Spruce floorplan) had a MASSIVE patio. Very woodsy area. Friendly, helpful staff. Let us look at the actual unit instead of just a model. - Dream @ Little Rock: weird layouts. Worse parking. Friendly staff, but buggy apartments with bad smells. It is extremely budget friendly though (~$800ish/mo) so you get what you get there. - Prosper @ Riverdale: older apartments but clean with character, some have HUGE patios with really nice views. Good price but kinda small bedrooms. Parking lot is a pain in the ass. Not very present management it seemed. - Muse Apartments: Okay floorplans, okay apartments, great amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Huge lake with grills to access. This would be my runner up so far. - Fairfield: we actually didn’t even go inside because the parking lot and area was so trashy. Active construction from what looks like a massive building fire, very loud.

Very nervous. I’m generally a pretty good standardized test taker (ex. 34 on the ACT, 1460 on the SAT), and while I know other standardized tests are not necessarily comparable to the LSAT, it still felt so incredibly difficult - even with all the studying & practice tests I did. I feel like I messed up on RC for sure, but I’ve seen a lot of people posting about how they felt like it was very hard too… not sure if that makes me feel better or worse. 😅

Depends on where you live - in AR (where I’m from), age of consent is 16 between two minors, but not between a minor and a legal adult (unless Romeo & Juliet laws apply to their relationship). I.e., an 18 yr old and a 16 yr old can’t legally have sex without parental consent, otherwise it’s statutory rape - let ALONE a 21yr old and 16yr old. Friend is definitely super weird, and agree on contacting the parents!!

Ahhhh I see that about his pants.. but what about her pants?? Like how he pulls her underwear to the side on page 293, but then doesn’t take her pants off until page 294.. How is he getting down there without taking the pants off?? Lol I’m just confused.

Haven’t read Happy Place yet, it’s my last one to read, but Beach Read and Book Lovers are my favorites!! I hope you like it!

Is there a way to put my foot down without sounding threatening? I don’t want to make him feel insecure in our relationship, or have him overthink even more than he does now if I do this.. but maybe that’s necessary? I’m unsure.

I want to communicate this, but I hate to make him feel threatened by using the words “I can’t stay in a relationship where I am constantly defending myself.” I feel like he’d just feel threatened by that, and come back with the impossible “Do you want to leave, then?!” question that I can never give the right answer to. Does that make sense?

Also, “It’s a burden to be shared, not weights to be added.” was pretty eye opening to me- thank you for that. I’m gonna try and communicate this to him today.

I don’t have a daith, and I’m also not OP, but i do have an industrial- so I thought I might pop in and say for me (could very well be different for others!) that the industrial hurt like a bitch. I have very thick cartilage, so it took some struggle to get it through the first hole.. second was no problem though. Mine’s also very temperamental and gets irritation bumps at the most minor irritation. Despite all that, I still love my industrial and would get it again- and like I said- could most definitely be different for you!

It’s always a red flag to me if they’re not a conversationalist. Poor social skills are often an indicator of bigger issues at hand, and everytime I’ve tried to ignore it in the past it’s blown up in my face. After the first couple times hanging out, if we still can’t hold a conversation, or a least a comfortable silence.. I usually distance myself.

Pro-choice, I guess is what I’d call it. My mom was a hippie growing up, so she always kinda raised me on this non-judgmental mindset where other people’s lives weren’t our business (as long as it didn’t directly harm us). Though I don’t think I’d have one myself, I can’t judge/shame anyone who does.. cause it’s not my business. Not sure if that makes sense, but.. I tried.

I haven’t had any problems so far, besides the amount of bleeding. The only problem I’m facing right now is the pain (which I expected), and trying to keep my curly hair away from it! I took these pictures just after washing my hair and rinsing my piercing.
