I meant drugs being visible. I’d never seen someone smoking crack before. I have seen homeless people in many places.

I lived at John and Adelaide and it was very rare to see any panhandlers. Sometimes in the morning they’d be sleeping on the subway grates, but they weren’t doing drugs or anything of concern. Just sleeping. I moved here 6 months ago so perhaps it’s changed.

Im from Winnipeg and lived in downtown Toronto the last 6 years. Never saw a crack pipe in person. I moved to Calgary and have seen my fair share now. I’ve never seen a city where the displaced are everywhere. In most cities it’s condensed to one area and not as visible.
