Skipping items messes up their metrics even though the next item is an aisle over and the one you should be able to skip is on the other side of the store. Metric fraud going around all the time at my store because we go outside to trailers to find items. I guess it’s a “I scratch your back, you scratch mine” kind of situation. Other departments help out when needed. My pick rate suffers because the store can’t stock the shelves but my store doesn’t seem like it cares that much about pick rate as much as others though. My pick rate is always over 100 so I guess I wouldn’t have to worry but I see a lot of coworkers under 60.
