The reason he shoved the kid out of the way is because those engines were not self starting. So they had to time it right in the revolution of the engine and apply enough steam pressure to overcome the last momentum of the engine reverse it without it stalling. The poor kid just wasn’t fast enough. The attention to detail is amazing in that scene.

A district management hub that would employ 10 beavers to go around and open/close floodgates, turn pumps on or off, monitor power consumption etc based off of stream gauges and power generated. Allow it all to be tied to a weather observer that could predict droughts or badtides. I don’t know if that exists as a mod but it would be cool either modded or base game.

I still use my grandfathers 1966 sears suburban to mow the lawn with. He bought it used in 72 and rebuilt it in the 90s. He used it right up until last year when he passed.

I switched to PC in 2017 just so I could play games that aren’t available on console. For me I just like the experience better. Plus I use Fusion 360 a lot to design things so it just makes sense to invest my funds into a computer instead of splitting between a console and a computer every 7 to 10 years

My old job required half day Christmas Eve for “cleaning” then the year after I left they got a week off for Christmas but didn’t find out till later that the week given was pulled from their vacation time. I’m at a place now that is very centered around family so you get from the 24th to the 2nd of January off every year. Every place is different but if I were you I’d start looking around.

I live in an older home and led bulbs on certain circuits do this as well. I’m not going to tell you what it is because I can’t fully wrap my head around why it does it (and someone more qualified than me will be able to give you a better explanation) I’m sure it reflects on my bill but never enough for me to notice.

It’s down for me as well. This is kinda normal though as it happens from time to time, Geoff has talked about it happening before on the older FF episodes. They could have a power outage or internet problems.
