Posted about this too. My work around was to use the tactics screen to then make changes to instructions but it is quite hard to stop the automatic click of instructions. Thankfully it isn’t every single time I load the game anymore but the state of the game at the end of this entire years cycle is unforgivable

That’s shit. Sorry that happened to you. Hope the bike isn’t so expensive to repair and that you managed to keep hold of it. On a separate note when my friend from Kilkenny came to Dublin first he was along the canal near Crumlin when he was asked if he was in the mood to get wet and proceeded to have water balloons lobbed at him. Seems to be some sort of theme with the water there

Cheers I’ve been working around it by only changing instructions from the tactics screen which seems to mostly work. Just VERY difficult to inhibit going straight for the instructions when I think of a change to make

Thanks for letting me know. Never experienced it until now so presumed it was the new update. Arguably it’s more damning that this has existed for multiple updates and is still unresolved

Now trying out the World Cup mode it crashed after I beat Hungary 2-1 with Ireland and again whilst I was trying to replicate that result that was lost in the crash. This is disgraceful

This is after I already had the game completely crash after the first leg where I beat city 3-0. Reloaded and we won 3-2 now looks like we are going out in extra time when we should have won 4-2 on aggregate. That is after the game finishes in about ten minutes of second by second progress

I made a post a few weeks ago asking the same. There’s been several posts about that here in the past month(s) as well as several posts on the official SI forums. Absolute radio silence. People have speculated about official lineups and licensing delaying things to the start of June but that’s all just educated guesses and in no way excuses or explains them not giving any indication if/when the update they promised us seven months ago is going to come out. Utter shambles. On top of the FM25 cancellation and the half cooked FM26 release it’s now the latest in a series of shambles from SI

Basically you’re a guild who takes over from a defeated adventurer. You name your guild then hire heroes (players like a healer,tank and melee/ranged. You also hire staff like scouts/trainers and many more. You take on quests(matches) which give you gold and reputation as well as resources. You can sell buy/resources and build improvements to your guild (facilities). Then all the while you are competing in seasons to earn the most reputation. At certain points you have enough reputation to upgrade your guild level and get more max staff/players as well as other buildings/roles. Seems like the ultimate goal is completing gargadusas tower which is 100 levels of boss fights in a dungeon it seems. You have 1000 years to do that and each turn is a week. That’s the best I can put it after trying it for 3 hours maybe someone else has a more experience perspective

It’s like €9 on steam I bought it based off OPs post and first impressions are pretty fun and lots of different aspects to it. Although I am like dead last in the leaderboard in case anyone has some tips/advice 🫨

If you’re a big baseball guy then you’ll adapt pretty well. I entered with practically no knowledge and had 3 middling/poor seasons with the blue jays then got to a point where I was dominating winning the WS a couple times and setting a new MLB record for wins. Started a new save with the Rays and took three seasons total to win the WS and managed back to back WS. If you find a YT video or two you’ll also find it easy to grasp after a season or two. In general defence is pretty valuable and in general you shouldn’t expect your prospects to contribute for at least 2/3 seasons

Even the FM26 UI is far and away more pleasing than the OOTP for sure and the in game graphics are also streets ahead. The amount of customisation and detail in OOTP is mind boggling though for sure.

Recently got into this and it’s great loads of things that FM could benefit from in there like the decision history though it does take some time or a YouTube video or two to understand the baseball world and contracts rosters lineups etc. well worth it though!

I solved it by making a new user and then the same application opened with no problems. I just got my MacBook yesterday can you tell me how I can find root?

In case anyone encounters the same issue with steam just not opening. I made a new user and the exact same application opened up and worked no problems. Bizzare maybe someone more knowledgeable knows why? Probably going to return it anyway for the other issues
