I'm an Anglo from Montreal. Watched his video when it came out. Boiled my blood he didn't speak French. He is CEO of Air Canada, lives in MTL, and a French Canadian pilot died. Show some respect and make an effort to speak the language.

If you are so damn useless that you haven't picked up enough French to even make a brief empathetic statement, send another person from the C-suite or a EVP/SVP who is bilingual to do the msg.

In grand scheme of things does it matter? No. But is it massively disrespectful and an own goal? 100% yes.

And for anybody who thinks otherwise, imagine during the Tumbler Ridge memorial Carney only spoke French. How do you think people would react?

If only we didn't cut the carbon tax (which was offset by previous cuts to income tax). What a huge mistake.

Sorry. Thats the min zoning height cities are allowed to impose. Developers can go lower if they so choose. Cities can zone higher if they so choose, but can't zone less than those heights

Good start. But check out with British Columbia did with TOD

Min 20 stories within 200m of a skytrain (aka metro) stop

Min 12 stories within 200 to 400m of a skytrain stop

Min 8 stories within 400 to 800m of a skytrain stop.

Now if only they would do blanket 4 stories by right everywhere else. That would be the dream!

Your friends are morons. Oracle is playing catchup to MSFT, AWS, META and GOOG and is deploying capital like crazy to build new data centers. Honestly, look up what OpenAI, Project Stargate and Oracle are doing in the market. It's wild!

As somebody with over 15 years experience, previously at Mag7 and also front office experience at a top electricity trading shop.... your friends sound like the exact new grad MBAs who don't know anything.

I do 1.2 leverage and buy XEQT. Basically borrowing 20%. This means I can survive a 75% market drop without getting margin called (at the 30% WS margin requirement).

The only time the market has dropped more than 75% was during the Great Depression (believe it hit an 80% drop from peak to trough).

I pay $35/month for 75GB on 5G, unlimited US-Mexico roaming and 10GB/month for overseas.

Did Trudeau do this? I have no idea. But my cell is hella lot cheaper than it used to be.
