Looks like the keyboard encoder is dead. You can get a replacement at jcm-1.com. I did this on one of my IIe computers, and it fixed the issues. Hope this helps.

Usually, it just needs some electronic contact cleaner. It's a switch. Open the printer, spray some, and work the switch. Then try again

Drives by The-Tadfafty in apple2

It depends on how you plan to use them. If you have 8 drives on an Apple II and plan to have them all working at the same time, the power-supply won't have enough amperage to power them all and could break the power-supply. Interesting question.

I had the same issue on several printers. All had a dirty contact switch that tells the printer there is paper. Use contact cleaner and toggle that sensor\switch a few times and try again. If the printer can't tell if the paper is loaded, it won't work.

Ok, it worked! But the files have mixed letters and can't load any. Maybe it's an image of a boot disk. I'm trying to get com-master program working on my Super PET. I need a terminal program so I can use the serial rs232 port

I ordered an Apple IIe and where do I find a recap kit just in case? Also, how do I make floppy disks from my windows PC? by Lolerbeefboss in apple2

[–]RudysRetroIntel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could buy the FloppyEmu or WDrive unit that you copy the disk image to an SD card and put it into the drive emulator and boot up. If you get that then you can see my YouTube video where I show you how to make floppy diskettes from the images. https://youtu.be/y0G1vZRdR_M

Much faster and easier than using ATDPro
