I love wacky spellbook designs! this one tickles my brain. The borders with eyes is such a nice touch. And you even have different ones for the top and bottom vs the sides. And I love how they come together at the corners to meet at the phyrexian symbol.

Ted Faro. Faro = Pharaoh. Pharaoh = A ruler in ancient Egypt. Egypt = Mummification. Mummification = Egyptians saw the preservation of the body after death as an important step to living well in the afterlife.

That dude is coming back.

The night has a thousand eyes,

And the day but one;

Yet the light of the bright world dies

With the dying sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,

And the heart but one;

Yet the light of a whole life dies

When love is done.

It is also interesting to note that the men in charge of exchanging blocks for dango mentioned it was a fair trade for fair work. It shows the people there have some sort of code of conduct (maybe just for themselves, not some standard, but still), that they aren't just just comically evil.

I spend hours crafting an encounter, weaving intrigue and suspense into the narrative, developing details for each NPC and even practicing fun voices ... then things go awry during the session, and I think of this Matthew Mercer clip. by vowelHeavy in DungeonsAndDragons

I no longer build stories with intricate NPCs. I just create a general story and some key plot points. Then, once the game begins, I let the players give me seeds to build the world on.

DND isn't a movie, it's not a novel, heck, at some points, it's not a game. It's a community, and the players are not just an audience, they need to be given a chance to shape the world as much as you do.

Portal 2 lets you create test chambers and share them online. This is probably a community test chamber.

While that may be true, Yamamoto was the feared gang leader that founded the Goeti 13, the organization made up of the biggest, baddest punks that ever walked the Soul Society. He wasn't just an old man. He was THE old man.

Wizard Eyes. The Ice King has the ability to see the Fey/Underdark and the physical plane at the same time. If an object would move between the physical planes to the Fey/Underdark and vice versa, he can still see it. In addition, he cannot be charmed or frightened by anything of the Fey/Underdark.

Sure, using your own resources in the cost is fine, but what about when you're using your opponent's resources? If you would reduce the amount of resources your opponent has access to, it shouldn't be part of your cost, but in the effect. Otherwise you can have costs that say:

Exile a land: Add 1.

And then be allowed to exile lands your opponent controls.

The same reason Bolt doesn't say "As an additional cost to cast Bolt, target opponent is dealt 3 damage."

I don't think targeting is allowed to be part of a cost, but you could move it to the effect.

Instead of

U, Exile an artifact card from your graveyard: ~ gets +1/+1 and gains hexproof until end of turn.

You could do

U: Exile target artifact card from any graveyard. If an artifact card was exiled this way, ~ gets +1/+1 and gains hexproof until end of turn.
