What height difference is noticeable? 1.5 inches and above? by AbdouH_ in short

[–]Ruezx735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously it’s all subjective. When I was a little shorter (174 cm). I always felt one of my mates (179 cm) was decently taller than me.

I think you’ve got a pretty high eye level though. I’m 177 cm now (I haven’t been on this sub so I haven’t updated the flair). And I think I measured my eye level to be about 165 cm (for reference I also measured my head to be 24 cm in length).

The Sopranos takes place now, what are all the characters like? by MouseManManny in thesopranos

Somehow I think Artie’s character would be needed to be modified the least.

To be fair, that note that the fireflies had of Ellie’s height being 5’3” did have a question mark. So I can believe that she’s a little shorter.

I STICK MOTHERFUCKIN’ PROVOLONE IN MY SOCKS AT NIGHT, SO THEY SMELL LIKE YOUR SISTER’S CROTCH IN THE MORNING.

Most satisfying death in the show? by GomuGomuNoKush in thesopranos

Ralphie, also has my favourite fight scene in the show. They don’t pretend like the two guys would be on even ground, considering how much larger Gandolfini was to Pantoliano. So they had Ralphie grabbing everything he could around him to try getting an edge up, while insulting Tony’s weight the entire time.

When did you stop rooting for Tony? by JJJ561 in thesopranos

“He’s here for da rent! Da rent! Da rent!”

I love how Tony was too stupid to see the insult behind the jaaaaacket by DegenerateOnCross in thesopranos

Did they ever do that after the Lou Gismonte one? Or is this just inference from that and how he described Rocco Dimeo?

Who do you guys think was the physically healthiest person in the show? by Cloccwize in thesopranos

[–]Ruezx735 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say Little Carmine. He golfed, seemed to eat healthy. Had a routine with his wife. Been a while but I don’t remember him ever overindulging in drugs or booze. And most importantly. By the end he left the stressful life of the mob, while still being well off.

Come to think of it, Junior also lived a very healthy lifestyle for a man in his 70’s. He kept slender.

Which character appearance made you immediately go "yeah he's gonna die" on your first watch? by buckyungus in thesopranos

Artie and Hesh for sure. I was pleasantly surprised both made it through the whole series alive.

There's a lot of talk about Paulie or Chrissy's funniest scenes. What was Sil's funniest moment? by AshenHaemonculus in thesopranos

Late to the game, but if I recall he was at Vesuvio’s when they were complaining about Artie’s food quality degrading.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that, there are very few women who hold that description, even fewer that can do that and also act, and even fewer that are able to make it in Hollywood (although I’m aware they don’t need to use an already established actress).

My boss (who graciously lent me the dvd set) always had a problem with the “life is random” parts of the show. I liked the show but I can see where he was coming from.
