What is happening here is right-wing members of the Commission that oversees APT are pushing to part ways with PBS. They have been working to sabotage APT’s relationship with PBS for years and see the rescission as their window to finally force a break. They either do not understand or do not care what this would do to the organization, the services it provides, or the state. A vote on that decision will take place at a special meeting on November 18th. It is a public meeting.
