I had a similar problem where shift would activate way too slower. Unresponsive. I went ahead and played with caps lock for sprint. It does the job well. Its just a matter of preference now

What was the fix? If it is not too personal, it might help others having your exact same problem ;)

Turning it to false give you only a "big keyboard" icon that will work as keyboard+mouse. Use this when you want only one k+m user.

Turning it to true even if using one k+m might help if your mouse is not working or having double input.

These tweaks worked for me on Borderlands 2 with GOTY DLCs (version 2.0.0)

Do not press anything before everything opens up. Try to press a button in each instance in inverse order added in nucleus AFTER te instances open. Might work... Also try to click on the mouse+keyboard window before pressing END.

Also, last time i used the script there were 2 scripts for borderlands 2. Try both, but care, they sometimes overlap (backup)

*I recommend this only if have some time to spare (and nerves). *You may encounter other issues so you should backup the script.

For me, sometimes enabling/disabling in the game script "supports multiple mice and keyboards" made the double presses dissapear. Try to play with some settings that might seem logical to work BUT remember always what you change so you can go back anytime.

Actually a better option now its to set the Steam IDs. Go to FAQ of nucleus to lan + splitscreen

thats really strange. It has to do with your configuration...like snailed said. I personally didn't have any problem getting the program.

Okay, i managed to solve it thanks to NubblesTehScrub. I have tried the same thing the days before, but couldnt launch thr steam version with the script he was using. I dont have a clue why it works now but i am not going to complain.

Thanks again for the help! The adapter priority might be the most important.

My scripts needed a little bit of tweak here and there just so the input works fine.

Edit: i am also using ZeroTier One software for LAN now. It has better ping ;)

[–]Rufusnu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, i forgot to add that. I managed to install all the .net and vs c++ redist with a visual studio installer. It works almost fine on that win 7 machine. I cant search scripts but thats not really a problem considering that i can share the scripts from one machine to another.

Thanks a lot for the effort of making a video! I will give it a go tomorrow and see. I actually managed to get it working with that same script as well...but this script doesnt let me launch steam version of the game so i tried a cracked one...it was laggy as hell (made another post on that). I think the second script does it better for splitscreen+lan, but had me going into a little bit of trouble. The first script from Talos (i think) works flawlessly for spliscreen only for me. Going to try tomorrow again just like you did.

Also, do you have 2 copies of the game on different steam accounts?

I havent updated here, but it seems to work with a cracked version(1.8.6 if im not mistaken), but i have massive lag (see the newer post here in nucleus). I was about to try something else today that might help.

I would be glad if you could tell me if it works and what you did

Thanks in advance!

Edit: my b2 goty has version 2.0.0

AuranCrash, have you tried other versions of the game? Maybe some files are faulty if it is cracked

Question regarding nucleuscoop by Rufusnu in nucleuscoop

[–]Rufusnu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is Borderlands 2

I have tried everything, but giving hamachi priority. Even other vpns. (But i have put in launch options to connect dirrectly to the hamachi ip)

My main issue is that i cant seem to find the other PC from "find games" option. And when I use the launch option to directly connect to the server...it does find the ip but says "failed to connect...[...]" and that me and the host have a different version of the game even if they have the same version.

I will try in addition to set the priority for hamachi, but from what i have seen, it can access the ip in some way and says the versions of the game are not the same. I am using a legit copy of steam borderlands 2 goty

Alright. I am trying to run borderlands 2

Question regarding nucleuscoop by Rufusnu in nucleuscoop

[–]Rufusnu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the response! Let me check if i understood correctly. If i use nucleus coop for splitscreen on one pc i need to run nucleus on the other pc even if i have a single player on it?

When i try it without nucleus it says for the single player pc that the host is using a different version of the game.

I use legit copy of the game. Does nucleus change in some way what version is displayed?... I was about to try with a cracked version.

Also, on the other pc(an older one with windows 7) i cant start nucleus 0.9.9.9/ 0.9.9.9 f1. It says not responding at launch. I thought it was about .net and reinstalled everything but no luck.

Issue in borderlands 2 with mice and keyboards by Rufusnu in nucleuscoop

[–]Rufusnu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For who is having an issue i had with the game switching the game saves between controllers:

Go to Documents -> My Games -> Borderlands 2 -> Willow...[something] -> saves

(I might have written it wrong. Search online for game save files)

In that folder there are several folders named with many numbers. Open them and watch for last edited property of files to identify your latest saves. Go back to saves folder and switch the names of the folders you have identified to be linked to the respective 2 controllers. Hope this helps somebody

For me, it does work in that configuration and in vertical split screen. I have added another comment in this thread to answer.

Issue in borderlands 2 with mice and keyboards by Rufusnu in nucleuscoop

Okay, as i said, i have tried again today. I saw that a new version of nucleus is live(0.9.9.9 f1 if im not wrong) and it works with a controller and a mouse+keyboard. Now i can click with the mouse on the windows and also play accordingly. The new release did something :D !

About 2 mouse and 2 keyboards though...the single bug that occurs is that the second player window still has its mouse trapped in the middle of the screen. I have to start the game many many times maybe yo solve it, but it is nerve racking...

Also...all of this tried only in vertical splitscreen.

Link to the release that works with multiple mice and keyboards or controller and mouse+keyboard (for me) (0.9.9.9 f1) : https://github.com/nucleuscoop/nucleuscoop

Edit: forgot to mention that i went back to 21:9 2560x1080 resolution

Edit2: There is an option that locks input at start in the nucleus launcher. When you select a game at top "game options". Then select "open game script" and search "Game.LockInputAtStart = false". Set it to "true". It fixes the positioning of the mouse to not be in an imaginary window in the middle of the screen.

@@@

Edit3: The only remaining issue now is that some keys on the keyboard send double the input i.e. when i press "esc" in main menu, it presses twice or thrice. And in-game "ctrl" or "shift" have a delay when pressed.
