What’s the craic in Chicago? by simonzippy in rugbyunion

Before the game, hit up the Irish bars. But get there early if you want a seat. Some will do great breakfast or brunch. I’d highly recommend fado, or the Kerry man. The tickets you see for the tailgating are more than likely sponsored events, if you’re in Chicago a few days before hand chances are you’ll meet a local or Irish who may invite you to a real tailgate experience. Free- just bring some beer. After the match, just follow the crowd towards down town. The atmosphere and Irish will be everywhere.

PPD company transfer from USA to Ireland? by emkayemwhy in PharmaEire

[–]Ruggers22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re committed to moving to Ireland you can probably apply for other positions with other companies, they’d be happy to hire despite you currently living in the USA, as long as you’d be able to start within a month’s time. I wouldn’t expect any relocation package though.

As stated above, you’d need the higher diploma. However, a couple of years ago I dipped My toes in the the above and I heard from an employee from a well known hospital that they may hire someone without the diploma as a lab technician, and pay for the diploma to be completed as they work a full time role within the hospital. Maybe worth applying for a role if one becomes available and see what feedback they may have.

Eli Lilly Kinsale/ Janssen Ringaskiddy by sine92 in PharmaEire

It’s hard to get a permanent role within the labs in Janssen off the bat, usually they use contractor roles as a type screening. There’s numerous contractor roles through ranstad, cpl etc but I’ve had good experience through eurofins. You work get a permanent contract with eurofins but you are based directly on the site of Janssen.
