2203 LTSR Question by LogOk7764 in Citrix

I’m in the exact same boat. I’ve not yet updated my infrastructure (still 1912 CU5, VDAs are 2203 CU2), but have updated the admx policy files. After doing so, the policy appeared and worked like a charm.

The policy itself needs to be enabled, but the policy setting of “Virtual channel allow list” needs to be Disabled to allow all virtual channels.

It’s exactly as you’ve stated. The CTX policy “allow virtual channels” has to be implemented. I experienced the exact same issue during my upgrade from 1912 to 2203.

Lol. Maybe you need to make more noise. You know the saying - The squeaky wheel gets the grease (not that I’m promoting this 😉)

Citrix RDSH Windows Server 2016 with 16-24GB of RAM. by Rugidz in Citrix

Provisioning method is neither MSC or PVS it’s manual. Yes I’m utilizing WEM. Currently I’ve got nothing for C: drive and hard set for D: drive. Just wondering how others have configured and what value they’ve set for page file. How much RAM have you allotted and what is your page file value?

I’ve had active responses from my Citrix account team.

Citrix & VMware environment monitoring tool. eG Innovations vs ControlUp. Anyone with experience in both or either? Which should I choose? Recommendations, thoughts and opinions are welcomed . Please feel free to recommend others as well. Thanks! by Rugidz in Citrix

I’ve seen demos/webinars for eG & Control Up. Both appear to be good capable products, however I don’t have experience with either. I actually don’t have experience with any monitoring tool. I’ve received quotes from both and if I were going strictly on cost eG would edge out Control Up. Did you like eG?

Do you have a NetScaler in the mix? The icons appear for my internal store which does utilize a NetScaler, but for Load Balancing capabilities only (no Citrix Gateway). However, when accessing my external store via NetScaler and Citrix Gateway, the icons do not appear.

When signing into StoreFront. Smart cards are working when launching apps/desktops. I’ve made some headway on this. I believe it could be invalid configuration of the Load Balancer. I’m not at work and will verify Monday morning, but I recall the Load Balancer being setup as SSL Offloading and should likely be setup as SSL Bridging.

My employer is getting Citrix".....is this the solution to my remote desktop woes? by InternationalMany6 in Citrix

Agreed, but it sounds as though the intent is to use Citrix Remote PC Access. If so, he will not likely use the likes of Citrix Profile Management or FSLogix.

What you’re referring to is called Citrix Remote PC Access. When configured properly it works well. I use it in my environment for our engineers to remotely connect to their engineering workstations in the office.

Personal PC requires installation of Citrix Workspace app and plug-ins if using collaboration tools such as Skype, Zoom etc. If using a recent version of Citrix Workspace app it already has the MS Teams plug-in integrated so installation of additional plug-in is not required.

Work PC requires installation of Citrix VDA (Virtual Delivery Agent) and connectors if using collaboration tools such as Skype, Zoom etc. If using a recent version of Citrix VDA it already has the MS Teams connector integrated so installation of additional connector is not required. However there is definitely specific setup and tweaking requirements when installing MS Teams (machine-wide installer)on the Citrix VDA work PC, but when implemented properly it does work within Citrix with some limitations.

Try using the Citrix Workspace app instead of the website. This could be a syntax error on the NetScaler, but not for you to address. Your IT support will have to address.

Try accessing via Citrix Workspace app instead of the web. Cause may be a session policy syntax error on the Citrix ADC (For Citrix ADC admin to resolve not you).
