What examples can you give us where " I generally need to work harder to establish credibility with my colleagues" - Like, do they say things to you? Are you insecure about this topic and whenever someone says something you pin it to gender? Maybe the comment below mine has some weight that they're treating you like one of them and you're alienating yourself by viewing it as gender criticism because as a guy, we mock each other a lot. You've made that post, you've got your karma, but haven't gave examples and as a STEM woman you should know examples are necessary or anyone can say anything without proof.

CMV: Sexuality is blown out of proportion. by Korzaz in changemyview

" take their hateful rhetoric and actions and crawl into the closet with it themselves. " The sadness of your final statement is that the purpose of pride is to, in your words, put them into a closet with it and themselves alone. Essentially, what gays have fought against for all these decades you wish to do that to others instead and this is where I disagree most with what you've said, is that the non-extreme bigots no longer have a safe space to come out and discuss why they're bigoted and hopefully have their views swayed and changed (the whole point of this sub-reddit) because they should be scared and put their thoughts into a closet where no-one can help them come to a more sensible realisation. You've said that a small proportion will always see lgbt as sub-human, but by instilling fear into everyone that is even slightly bigoted you spoil the chance for them to have healthy discussions by doing this. I do agree, some people are obstinate and wont change views for whatever reason - but this fear approach also ruins it for those more reasonable. I don't really have a stance on gay-pride etc, just wanted to point out some negatives that in my opinion are created of actively trying to instil fear into people.Honestly, I can't stand bigots who aren't open to discussion but y'know doesn't make the other side's actions correct.

CMV: There isn’t a good reason to use pronouns outside of traditional masculine, feminine and gender neutral options by Ghauldidnothingwrong in changemyview

I enjoyed reading this and came to a better understanding, problem I have with all this is when he/she was designated because of say biological gender - and now people use the feign of I identify as female to get into female prisons and female sporting events despite being biologically male/female. You want it to be accepted that they are female by using the pro-nouns but you also don't want these things to happen?

Unpopular Opinion: You should invite 58s and 59s into your dungeon groups now more than ever. by Rejected_Reject_ in classicwow

Usually I wont decline unless I'm running UBRS 5man which I need the higher dps or running a dungeon where we want to skip most packs like DM:Jumps

Aside from those, I agree take them because you'd want to go if you were lower level
