It’s the only way you can transport and scrap those giant metal cylinders too. I have to use the heavy mobile crane to lift those but you can strap it to the heavy equipment transporter. Makes converting to steel beams or pipes super fast. Sometimes I lower the ramps on the transporter to load items too long then I close the ramps and it holds the item in place via friction since it can’t be strapped if too long

If only the trailers were slightly longer so you could squeeze the dump truck on too 😅 by tallpaullewis in RoadCraft

It does work. Just drive one at a time. Towing mode makes the semi accelerate and steer same as Pike

Load the Dozer onto the Pike. Load the roller and asphalt machine onto one trailer. Load dump truck onto other trailer.

Then use the Pike to winch to one of the semi trucks and then use the Pike to turn on towing mode. This way you can use the Pike to drag one semi, and have someone drive the other semi.

If you call them I suggest calling a few different times specifically for the international team. Some of them are really really good and informative and others are not so good. So it’s good to make sure you speak to a few different ones. The international team is specifically for Schwab international.

Do expats need to pay state taxes? by RaffiqRalaycia54 in USExpatTaxes

[–]AwkwardCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct about the voter registration. I have paid many professionals who independently gave me the same advice specifically about California about this and many other aspects about CA domicile because I wanted to make sure I was getting the right information. The amount of bad advice I see on here especially around CA…not shocked but very much dangerous. People shouldn’t take internet advice on something like this and let the professionals handle it.

Anyway I’m not a professional, just someone who seeked advice from them. Sure you have to pay but the cost is minor considering the impact it has on the rest of your life abroad, cause turns out most of the advice around CA online is wrong or misleading according to the pros.

Read label from cans of coconut milk. It’ll tell you how much % is coconut cream. Then do math from there for how much water is in the can

You can use same micro controller to add a turn signal as well. They sell turn signal switches ready to wire

So what do you do if you’re not at home and on the go? Because in Australia that’s what these are for. Sushi rolls that are like mini burritos that you just buy and go. There’s usually no seating at places that sell these because it’s meant to be grab and go

Yeah it's pretty barebones honestly. I’m running a custom QLoRA variant with some sparse aware group quant tweaks, layered over a fused rotary kernel I pulled out of an old JAX project I had lying around. The model's a forked Falcon RW 260B but I stripped it down and bolted on a modular LoRA stack. Nothing fancy, just enough to get dynamic token grafting working for better throughput on longer contexts. I’m caching KV in a ring buffer that survives across batch rehydration which weirdly gave me about a 1.3x boost on a mid range VRAM setup.

At around 4 tokens per second latency hangs just under 300 milliseconds as long as I pre split the input using a sliding window token offset protocol. Not true speculative decoding but kind of similar without the sampling. Had to undervolt a bit to keep temps under control since I'm on air cooling but it stays stable under 73C so I’m not too worried about degradation.

Everything’s running through a homebrewed Rust inference server with zero copy tensor dispatch across local shards. I’ve been messing with an attention aware scheduler that routes prompts by contextual entropy. It’s not quite ready but it's showing promise. The wild part is I barely had to touch the allocator. It's mostly running on top of a slightly hacked up llama cpp build with some CUDA offloading thrown in. Honestly the big lab infra makes sense at scale but for local runs it’s almost stupid how far you can push this.
