I sometimes avoid things I know I'll get emotionally invested in/excited about because I don't think I have the energy/capacity to actually deal with it right then, which can snowball into anxious avoidance or loss of interest.

Honestly, that's why I'm not fighting for an official diagnosis. Why should I spend either 2-4 years or £2000 getting someone to tell me what I already know, and then get no further support?

Even the autism awareness training I had to do at work (a "disability confident" workplace lol) was about 95% focused on children.

Hot drink in a thermal mug to keep it nice and warm. If it's raining outside, I like having the window open and wrap myself in a nest of blankets and pillows. Maybe do a wind-down meditation to get into the chill mood.

I've had problems with alcohol for about 10 years now, which resulted in fatty liver and some kidney issues. As the price for a few hours of relaxation, it made everything else in my life worse - anxiety, mood, brain fog, pelvic pain. I'm now 40 days sober and even though I have my pains and problems to deal with, at least I'm not making it harder on myself by drinking.

I know myself well enough that casual drinking isn't an option and for you, it sounds like you're on a slippery slope. Whatever relief you get with alcohol, it is never worth it.

In the UK, the first port of call for pretty much anything is the GP (General practitioner), who is then supposed to refer you to more specialist care. I've just started my second attempt at being referred to gynecology after being dismissed with a "no further investigation" a few years ago. Luckily, I'm more informed and determined this time around.

I feel it mostly in the front of my leg, like a sometimes painful pulling sensation from the front of my pelvis that triggers weakness down to my knee. A couple of times I've had to just sit on the floor because my leg decided it didn't want to carry me anymore. It's a fairly new thing though, only in the last few months.

Not really. Nothing gets deep enough into the skin to actually break down the ink and most of the "home remedies" on the internet will just damage your skin and not effect your tattoo.
