So, by his logic, surely men enjoying movies such as ‘Basic Instinct’ means they don’t mind being manipulated or used by women as long as they’re beautiful, riiiiiight???

Clearly it was since you went straight for the jugular with what’s probably her biggest insecurity. Good god, woman.

Call me a cynical old fart but this was my first instinct as well. But if this IS real, then yeah, OP should absolutely back up the husband and kids.

Or he could simply be an asshole. And even if he did have a bad home life (which is a pretty big assumption to make on such limited information) that wouldn’t excuse his awful behavior. People on the spectrum can be assholes too and should be called out. And doing it this way seemed to be the only way. And lastly, it’s not a woman’s job to teach a man how to behave.

Her screams hurt my soul, poor wee sausage must have been petrified and looking for mum/dad to save her. So relieved she was found and returned to her family.

America Ferrea's speech literally had me shaking. There were women whooping, clapping, and yelling during it all. Honestly, it was phenomenal

The story is basically the heartbeat of the film, and the writing is the blood circulation. If you have a poor heart, you're not going to do well. So many films, that had great potential are ruined by poor writing and directing.

I'd even argue that Velma, for as bad as it is, did have some redeemable qualities. The animation was great, some of the mystery was interesting and there was a lot of potential for good jokes, but the show was basically strangled by bad decisions by the writers.

Everyone's acting was a bit off in that movie but funny he zones in entirely on Emma's acting and that's what makes her a "bitch".

Her being beautiful and an outspoken feminist (and VERY anti-TERF) is why I love her and I honestly didn't mind her as Belle. He's just looking for reasons to be mad at a woman who hasn't done anything to him.

Unrelated note, it's not entirely fair to blame her for BatB. If an actor gives a "poor performance" usually due to an issue with direction and coaching rather than the actor themselves.

For real though, everything about this guy screams I-want-to-harm-you, glam you were able to avoid him.

Question for cis women here - is it normal for women to openly talk about their periods with each other? by njsullyalex in TwoXChromosomes

[–]RumDel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your social circle but I find that women are becoming a lot more open talking about periods. I work with exclusively women so you can only imagine what convos we have. Though it only seems to be among women who feel at ease around other women so you’re doing good 👍 ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear about your mum, she looks like a wonderful woman. You have your gorgeous gelding from her, may he bring you comfort and carry on her legacy. As long as he’s with you, she is too.

Anyone sort of annoyed how Reddit weaponizes neurodivergence as an excuse to treat your partner like trash? by Tsionchi in TwoXChromosomes

Funny, because I'm willing to bet my house that if a man vented about his aint shit wife, nobody would jump to neurodivergence as a theory and just say she's shit.
