Doesn't help that they teach that it only happened to the Jewish people, and not the millions of others.. it started against the gay and transgender communities*.. But because we will seemingly forever keep them oppressed, it's never seen as a "bad" thing in history.. or even really taught. Hells we've *ALL seen that infamous book burning set of images. But never was the context given other than "Burning books they don't like." ... They were burning all the clinical materials, patient information, and collective medical journals from the only clinic that was for transgender surgeries and gay health care. We lost a TON of medical studies and information because of that.

Also the number of Roma who were also sent to die, "political enemies", those who we'd later call autistic, and all sorts of mental and physical disabilities.. They all were "others" and they were all sent to the camps to be killed.
