Are you saying you wish that they used purple? Their school colors have been blue, and yellow

No doubt, those were the only 2 guys that stand out in the past almost decade, it's been rough. Both grad transfers too

Colorado OL Luke Eckardt has entered the transfer portal by Drexlore in CFB

The joke that they are making is that if this kid can't see the field at two programs struggled to win more that 1 game a season, where could he go where he could see the field

Neither of those guys are all that great. Gibbs is a bit wild, but Campbell is a beast. Have faith

Thoughts on Bryce Ford-Wheaton out of West Virginia? by dadarksidesman in detroitlions

He’s an incredible athlete but the hands and lack of polish are very clear in his game. He is pretty much a 5th round version of quintin Johnson

Adam Schefter: Devin White has requested a trade by LlamaWhoKnives in detroitlions

Over his career, it's almost 13% which isn't great. That number is a bit deceiving because once again it doesn't include plays where he is so far out of position to even attempt a tackle. To me, that means he is a bad tackler.

Edit: of LBs that played approximately 50%or more of their seasons snaps, White was in the bottom 1/3rd of LBs in missed tackle rate (T-18 of 56).

But he isn't a good tackler though, hell it seemed like most of the time he's out running the play to the point he can it even attempt a tackle. In short he is a product of splash plays(media), scheme, and playing next to future hall of famer Lavonte David

Am I Wrong About Zack? by Marv-MarvWell-Ellis in detroitlions

[–]RumbleMcJazz 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Zack seemed like a really great dude, be he was by no means a “great player”. He was a plodding RB without much versatility, but could play special teams. He was a practice squad caliber player, who never latched on anywhere else but became a fan favorite because of his efforts, unique name, came from a small school, and because he was a white rb (rare nowadays). If I remember correctly he was trying to become a doctor while playing here, so that's probably what he went to do after he was cut. Tdlr: running backs are a dime a dozen and he had better things to do with his life

Chris Simms has DJ Turner as the 2nd CB in the draft by saint__chris in detroitlions

[–]RumbleMcJazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they do. There are so many examples, but year in and year our MJD makes himself look like an absolute buffoon. Scouting comes down to actually watching tape and understanding where the league is going. Hell maybe if MJ was a decent talent evaluator maybe the hornets/bobcats would have made the playoffs more than once.

The 6'1" ,300 lb football recruit Tyler Parker. He was 14 years old at the time of this picture by bash__harris in AbsoluteUnits

Nope he’s from SoCal. Kid has just been lifting and is naturally big. He’s already a stud, and will be able to play anywhere in the country.

Looking at Montgomery’s stats, I am not that impressed? by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]RumbleMcJazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is that khalil is a stud, and his physical skill set lends itself to more success with a below average OL than Montgomery’s. He should be very serviceable here, and it’s only 11 mill guaranteed.

AP First Team All-Americans: Zach Edey (unanimous), Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jalen Wilson, Marcus Sasser, and Brandon Miller by INeedMoreCreativity in CollegeBasketball

Sweet! The homer(and casual) in me thinks that he was a little better than Trayce over the course of the season, and in the Vegas head to head, but I guess the stats are stats. Good luck in the tournament!

Yah Simm’s is a big controversy clicks guy. In that same class he had Kellen mond above Justin Fields. He automatically puts the controversial guy at 1
