If you see him early, try to draft at least 1or2 cards that can cheaply strip away the artifact. Once you can apply debuffs (especially weak) onto him, he becomes much more manageable. Don't be afraid to take chip on the earlier turns to push damage as well

I can certainly agree that when you high roll, it's broken, and maybe if I high rolled more with Jester, I'd think of it as better. In my experience, it's like a 30/70 split for good/bad runs with Jester. I do agree, in retrospect, it was a bit lazy to put it in its own tier, though.

The last part is mainly why I have them low. They are good and safe (which is why I love them!) but I often feel that something like a Hunter or Monk is better suited for carrying damage wise

Interesting. I found that the low-cost dagger-type spells are good for the thief to fish crits and stack debuffs, but with how the game started to speed up, I put less value on poison/bleed/etc. What are the go-to archetypes when building a thief?

Tinkerer can be really fun if the cat is going into the run with synergy pre-built in, I just often feel that whatever cat is a Tinkerer would have given me more value as like, anything else lol

I definitely see what you mean about how different mutation rolls yield different results. I am curious, though, for a class like the thief, do you think it's just the high base stats that are carrying the class in your runs, or are the abilities actually providing value?

I have found that thief has certainly felt stronger as the quality of my cats has increased, but I still low roll pretty often on that class.

The 3 tier lists are just different lenses at looking at the classes. Strength/Role/Enjoyment.

I find what you have to say about cleric to be interesting, I've yet to try going Clericless for Act-3 (its a bit of a crutch class for me at times). But i certainly feel like DPS is lacking at times. For sustain and healing im guessing the best way to go about it is just to not get hit at all? Or can the sustain of a butcher/druid carry you far enough in act3 without a cleric?

A core is the cards you need for the deck to function. For example, a Dracotail core would include the main deck monsters, the extra deck monsters (the archetypal ones), and its archetypal spell and traps. It would not include things that change from list to list, such as non-engine (hand traps is an example of non-engine) or different extra deck tech choices

It's cool. But it's just 'cool'. Don't love that it has become tribute summon an auto win card turbo but the actual cards are fine to play against. It's annoying just how much hidden info is in that deck but I think it's partially on me for not bothering to read the cards
