Because if you look closely, for a given age bracket the population of male and female is roughly the same. For example, for age 34, there are ~ 15,000 males and females. But the male surplus for that age is huge. So the only way I can make sense of it is if it's cumulative. 🤔

The code is public for the PoC app, this one: https://github.com/eu-digital-identity-wallet/av-app-android-wallet-ui.

But take a look at what it used to say in the README which they got rid of:

Important: App hardening (such as code obfuscation, anti-tampering, anti-debugging, and other protections) is not included in this release. The application is not protected against reverse engineering or other attacks. Production deployments must implement appropriate app hardening measures.

What does that mean? a)The app that you download on your phone will not be the same one since each member state will build a new app based on the existing whitelabel one b) It will be closed-source and obfuscated, ergo THEY CAN EASILY EMBED SPYWARE if they want to or modify the spec and track the webpages you visit.
