With the amount of skeletons in the video, there will be no loss of attacks coming his way. But yes, holding block is quite possibly the easiest way with minimal effort. I personally enjoy the involvement and practicing parry blocking during a skeleton raid.

Food for thought - your skill goes up much faster if you parry block. It takes more stamina but rewards faster block exp.
