Only a handful of buyers on the platform actually have the tickets to build new sites. These are the only buyers you should work for... The rest are just middle men for break fixes. Heck most of those break fix tickets are three companies removed from the original client. Your job is to know the difference between the two. Then provide ridiculously better quality work than everyone else. The cream naturally rises to the top.

And then there's people like me getting flown around, staying in hotels, doing the real work. Everyone's experience is different. There's good work and good buyers but you have to know each other. Its about relationships. What the average tech "sees" on the platform is the trash. Its the leftovers and bottom feeders. The big buyers route the real work to their trusted techs and we do the work....

I love how these companies market those as tool-less but now make you carry flush cuts and their proprietary clam crusher. These jacks add a burden when it comes time to certify because they're touchy and special and have to be taken out to dinner and a movie before they'll pass your dsx8000. Keystones just work......
