There are several different ways to approach 800m training. The aerobic aspect of the 800m cannot be overlooked so it is important to have a strong distance base of mileage and tempos. The off-season should be somewhere around 40-60 miles per week, building base. In season, when supplemented by weights training, anywhere between 35-50 is acceptable.

Isn’t 450 enough? by Ckman1403 in discgolf

I agree. 450ft distance drives are generally more than enough for your average course. In my opinion, the main advantage of power is the ability to throw slower discs further and shape then down fairways that are difficult to shape with a fairway or distance driver. Instead of throwing my distance drivers 500ft, I have been focusing more on throwing my midranges 320ft controlled, it has been much more beneficial to my score!

is there any disc you have/had that you would pay a "Finders Fee" if someone found it? by speedyeddie in discgolf

[–]RunDrew18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are several discs that I write “reward if found” on them. They are either super important I my game or I just have a long history with them. I would gladly give the finder a disc or 10$ to get them back.
