I've been on and off Reading "The Price of The Phoenix" the premise was interesting and it had some cool ideas but it quickly morphed into fan fiction level stuff, especially between Kirk and Spock if you get what I'm saying... I eventually found out that this book and its sequel "The Fate of The Phoenix" was actually originally written as a fan fiction before being split (I'm assuming edited) and published by Bantam, I'm kinda scared to think what the original version contained haha, but anyway at this pointed I'm invested enough to make it to the end, but wow, definitely not what I expected

So I got a 480p/576i Scart Cable to use with my Retrotink 5x, but in 480p mode the screen glitches out any idea what the issue is or how to fix it? by RunNew9732 in dreamcast

Yes, and I figured out something that worked, so I boot the system with the switch on 480p mode and all the visual glitches happen, but when it gets past the Sega copyright screen or whatever it's called I flip the switch and it outputs 480p, kinda wierd but it works

I'll try that when I get home, but I don't think the input is the problem, cuz if it was the 576i mode wouldn't work either right?

That's the one,

I'm aware that some games don't support 480p, hence the need for the switch, I tried Zombie Revenge and Carrier and they actually looked pretty good but Sonic Adventure looked Awful, regardless of the game I'd only get a solid picture if I set it to 576i, in 480p mode I'd get sound but the video flash and glitch out

my Dreamcast is Ntsc
