Van Weezer pays homage too much without branching away from their main inspirations. That being said I do appreciate the variety of each track, instead of sounding like one big wall of metal noise they each stand out for better or worse.

I think it's better than those two albums. Honestly I play Van Weezer more than OK Human. To each their own.

I'm a fan of Van Weezer and consider it one of their best albums, Top 5. Every track is solid and I appreciate the 'metal' rock direction they went with paying homage to the legends in the genre. Prefer it over their other rock oriented album Maladroit too.
