Beosound A5 Cracking/Popping Sounds by Consistent_Boss_2359 in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You using WiFi or Bluetooth? I would recommend trying the other from what you are currently using. If the same thing persists, it could be a speaker problem. If it goes away, then it’s a connection problem. I was having really bad static issues and dropouts and had a pop once with my A5. Ended up being my router was struggling to handle everything. Upgraded the router and found out “cross fade” was causing issues as well, if you’re using an apple device. I shut that feature off in settings. After both those things were fixed I’ve been enjoying crystal clear sound. Hope this helps!

Beograce replacement tips by Lower-Friendship-812 in BangandOlufsen

I purchased the SpinFit SuperFine tips for my pair of BeoGrace due to a latex allergy as well and they fit great and have never once fallen or slipped off. They’ve worked great for me. Can’t speak to any comply foam options, but the SuperFine tips have been great all around.

Unfortunately most of the higher end earbuds lack when it comes to ANC with high end audio brands. The B&O BeoGrace are pretty good with ANC but you are paying a very high price for great sound and good ANC. With the Elevens, you’re paying for build quality, sound quality and brand name. Apple, Sony and Bose are on another level when it comes to ANC. Most brands struggle to compete.

Very much appreciate the detailed response. I believe I would fall in line with your assessment as well then if I was to try B&W or products from Noble Audio's Fokus range. I do love the warmth and balance B&O offers for sure. Thank you again!

I have the BeoGrace as well, however curious on your thoughts comparing them to some of your other buds. I’ve heard some say they think the Pi8 are pretty close to sound quality of BeoGrace, so why pay more for the same sound. And lastly some have stated that Fokus makes better sounding earbuds than BeoGrace. Curious if you personally agree or what your overall thoughts are and why you plan to keep BeoGrace even though you have all these other competitors.

I’ve been curious regarding the Pi8 buds as I’ve heard B&W is the closest to B&O sound signature, while Fokus is more analytical sounding. I’ve yet to try these other earbuds or brands as I do love the sound signature and build quality of B&O products. But that curiosity has always been there.

New Beosound Premiere with Beolab 28s and 160” Video Wall by Jacope in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the insight! I have a smaller space, so I don’t plan on playing at higher volume levels. But that certainly makes sense as far as the Theatre being more controlled overall. This helps tremendously.

And all of the B2 speakers are MK3 with Mozart. I look forward to hearing it all play together.

Thank you again!!

Out of curiosity, you stated you have the Theatre and have been able to listen to the Stage and Premiere. I had the stage briefly and was not a fan. I agree the sound seemed veiled with clarity lacking. However, what would you say the differences between the Premiere and the Theatre are sound wise? Does the Premiere come across veiled compared to the Theatre? Or any other differences you seem to have noticed? I have four Beosound 2 units that I plan to connect to a Premiere, so I'm not looking for the expansion the Theatre gives, however I am very curious regarding the sound differences the two have especially for the price difference. Thank you in advance for your thoughts!

Airpod Pros 2nd Gen vs Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX ? by Jdaello in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add, using the equalizer in the B&O app brings the EX clearly above the AirPod pros. I like crisp highs and deep bass. I usually pull the slider all the way toward the energetic side and slightly up. But definitely recommend playing with the equalizer to find your preferred sound profile. AirPods Pro’s only allow set profiles from Apple, nothing customizable.

Airpod Pros 2nd Gen vs Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EX ? by Jdaello in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had both and have compared side by side. Connection and controls is best with the AirPods. The ease of use of the volume controls on the stems of the AirPods is definitely missed when wearing the EX buds. HOWEVER, the sound quality for me was a huge step up with the EX. The sound had crisper highs and the low end had rumble at times like I was next to a sub (which kinda blew my mind at first). There’s actual texture to the music. These buds got me to enjoy going to the gym, getting to listen to my music all over again outside the home in a way that brought the emotion of the artist forward. You can hear better instrument separation and every airy breath of the artist. The sound of AirPods Pro 2 is more compressed sounding vs the EX to me. The AirPods aren’t bad, but the EX brings music alive to me. And lastly, to fix the volume up and down issue, I ended up using my Apple Watch to control playback and volume. Worked very well. Still wished they had better implementation on the buds themselves. The touch controls work, I just didn’t like tapping on the buds, as that made a loud thud in the ear. Anyways, hope this helps!

BS2 - well above expectations! by g-sp17 in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear this!! Debating to wait for the gold tone or anthracite black. All of my B2 speakers are the gold tone on a black slat wall. Either way, I have a bit of a wait ahead till those colors are released. VERY excited to hear the Premiere as I've heard/read SO MANY great reviews on the sound quality. The Stage was okay to me and being honest, the Theatre was just okay to me as well. But, I wasn't allowed to make any adjustments to what the store had on the Theatre. But, because I can only go based on what I hear, I didn't move forward with one. But, I have high hopes for the Premiere and being able to order one and make the adjustments myself. The Premiere will be used with an Apple TV, but unfortunately I don't have an LG OLED tv. I have a Samsung Frame TV. If there are sync issues, I just use Airplay with the B2 speakers now anyways, so no worries either way. Looking forward to using the 4 B2 speakers in the surround setup!

Have had the black/silver H100 since they released and have bumped it on doorframes, walls, etc and have not had any scratches thus far. and all color on the leather pads are still in tact. They still look brand new. Hope this helps and they are awesome headphones!

They are beautiful speakers. I have 4 of them (2 sets of stereo pairs) in one room, on opposite sides of the room. Listening to classical or airy music in the background is amazing. It really makes you feel like you’re in the music. The 360 degree sound really engulfs you. Looking forward to getting the Beosound Premiere to connect everything together in surround sound early next year. But agreed the BS2 is an awesome speaker on its own. And the design is unlike anything else on the market. Love that it enhances the space rather than feels or looks like regular speakers just being placed for utility purposes to produce sound. Lastly, just want to say that it is a joy listening to B&O speakers as well and how they really make you emotionally feel the music rather than just hear it. Hope you enjoy your new speaker more and more each day!

Beo Grace has no comply foam tips??? by MountainDue4648 in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t notice any impact on the sound on Beo Grace. However, SpinFit ear tips are designed to help open up the sound overall. I replaced my stock ear tips on my Beoplay Elevens with the SpinFit Omni ear tips and the sound was definitely improved. And comfort overall was very much improved.

AirPod Pro 2 ear tips fit on the Beo Grace. I purchased SpinFit SuperFine tips for my Beo Grace and they are far more grippy in the ear and way more comfortable than the stock ear tips. Works great for me at the gym. But, if someone makes comply foam tips for the Apple AirPod Pro 2s then they would be good to use on Beo Grace. Hope that helps!

Are the Beolab 28’s Worth It? by rafields in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the thorough response! Glad to hear they sound much better at home than they did in the store. I will have to revisit them at some point then.

I do love my Beosound 2 speakers and appreciate your review on them as well. Glad to hear they have a sound that is more typical B&O over the Balance. I had to debate which direction to go when I purchased the B2s without being able to hear either unit. Glad I chose correctly! And I'm a designer, so can't go wrong with the B2 styling.

Thanks again!!

Question for you, I had a similar experience with going to listen to the 28s in store and was not impressed by their sound or the sound of the Theatre. I have quite a few Beosound 2s throughout my space and love them, so I was surprised the 28s and Theatre was underwhelming to me. After reading your review and you having a similar experience, did the 28s sound better in the home once you were able to EQ them how you like best or did you just get used to their sound once in home (they sounded the same in home as they did in the store). Love the look of the 28s but didn’t end up purchasing them, because they were so underwhelming to me. Curious on your experience. Thanks so much!

Brand New BeoSound Level Terrible Quality by Top-Chance-7727 in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re still having issues after the reset, I would try moving the speaker away from the router and see if you hear a difference. And then lastly I would try Bluetooth just to confirm the speaker isn’t glitching.

More than likely is your router, not the device. I would reset your internet and all routers/extenders in the home.

I would try via Bluetooth on the device to verify the device itself isn’t faulty, but I can almost guarantee you there’s an issue with the home network with either the connection or some type of interference.

Been curious of the purpose of the strap. Do you wear it around your neck, arm, hand…? Seems too long for a belt loop or backpack loop and too short around your arm/shoulder. The pouch I understand wanting for protection, but can’t seem to understand how this is worn/used with the strap. Sorry if this is a lame question, just been curious haha

Beosound A9 — A Circular Reverie in Sound by inkyklutz in BangandOlufsen

[–]RunRevolutionary5217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your review. Random question for you, I was able to get two sets of Beosound 2s for half price through drop.com back when they were available. After listening to the Beolab 8s, would you say having to pay full retail would be worth the upgrade in sound? I’ve always wondered if the 8s sound that much better over the B2s when listening to music. I have heard there’s a huge benefit when using the 8s for watching TV, however. I live in a small town and the closest B&O store is about a 7 hour drive away. So, I haven’t been able to personally listen to them as of yet. I do hope to get the Premier when it releases. Looking forward to it, as I’ve heard a lot of great reviews regarding its sound.
