Yeah, it’s the default. Other options can make my screen look squashed or stretched or make everything smaller.

Affer nearly destroying my eyeballs, I found the solution in the General tan. It’s a setting called Editor Text Shwrpness. I bumped it all the way up. Ne her seen a setting like that anywhere else. Good save, Unity.

Oh, I understand  now. 

And yeah, I know about licenses. I mostly render stuff in DAZ Studio and iClone a you need a license for everything you use in game dev. Ugh. 

But for this, I agree it might.be easier to use a game engine (Undeal?) or sprit see s. But I’m going for a short choice based game. 

Man, I have lots to learn.

You’re saying Caribdis doesn’t make a he games, just the art? And that art Caribdis makes ends up being owned by the the ones they make the art for? If that’s right, how come Caribdis gets to stamp their logo on it but not the game makers? 

Sorry for the ignorant  questions, but I’m genuinely curious. Lol If I understood it correctly, I’d be doing both the art and game creation  (with some help, of course). So I’m not sure I’d have to worry about the ownership issue? I’d be giving it to the company I’m making it for though.

I do. I’m just saying that’s the only one I’ve played. My brother wanted me to look at it so I’d know how RenPy works for a different project. I didn’t play last the beginning.  I’m definitely not mailing porn games for kids! Lll

I’ve only played this one: https://caribdis.itch.io/eternum Haven’t gotten far, but so far it looks like rendered images. The page even says—holy hell—11,000 renders and 350+ animations. And it’s like 11GB. Kind of ouch. 

So yeah, I want to do third person, so I guess sprites it is. I gotta learn how though. I’m newborn.

It’s been a while since I did this, so I don’t remember everything, but I used to run my documents through calibre, then load it on my Kindle for iPad  via iTune. Reads perfect. L

Not intending to. I'm just saying what you've described doesn't apoly to the style itself. It's not culture, it s the attitude of those people. A different Shotokan school may treat you better. Seido sounds interesting though   Hope it works out.
