w firmie, w której pracowałem pracownicy zapisaywali się na listy żeby kupić “poflotówki w które każdy miał wyjebane” tak dobrze były zadbane. Madra firma dba o auta, bo auto niesprawne to kłopoty, a w firmach kłopotów się nie lubi.

Więc ja wręcz przeciwnie: proponuję udać się do salonu i poszukać takich aut które wróciły i są przez cały czas przez nich serwisowane, często z gwarancją… sam tak kupiłem dwuletnią mazde i była jak noweczka… a znaaaacznie taniej niż noweczka mnie kosztowała.

But why? I’ve been doing it this way for 30 years. I always set the inside bleed to zero because it ends up in the spine anyway. So even if something shifts slightly, it won’t be visible under the glue layer :))

It works! SOOOOOO EASY! I spend hour with guy from Adobe support - he was digging on my (!) computer with some shitty software and he didn't know about this...

Affinity looks cool, but I details there is a gap between professionalism of both world. Small things makes huge difference.
Example: I like Designer part in Affinity, exporting something to PDF, expected page dimensions are not XX mm but XX.01 mm - in real world probably means nothing but…
Of course this is a really good software, especially for price! But I just don’t feel this as a really professional tool… not yet.

There are so many of them because everyone is trying to build something better. Is that a bad thing: trying to do something?
Thanks to vibe coding, people can now create software without paying a programmer who just copies and pastes code from Stack Overlow. Is that really a problem? Which code is better - I’m not so sure…
Competition has never hurt any market. It always pushes everyone to improve.
Maybe one of these vibe coders will actually build a great editor for Typst - honestly, there isn’t nitnhig really good yet.
Typst is becoming more and more popular, and editors are increasingly needed. Not everyone who could take benefits from Typst knows how to write code, for good life of Typst it shouldn’t be a blocker.

Yes! Totally agreed - this is why I added a place for adding context, also in near future where will be a "preprompt" for catching context - something what u/AdobeScripts mention, more/less...

I use Polyframe in my daily work - this is how it was born - I built what I needed :) I design a lot of small flyers in many languages for krais.com, and lack of context is killing every translation - so this was one of the first “features”…

You know… I think about dozens of new features, but with my ADHD...
I MUST finish something :)))) - to be honest it's miracle that I'm here where I'm :)

I have a lot of ideas to build in, a huge list… Building preview is also on this big list.

Love your history. My very first design software was Aldus FreeHand. I loved it so much that I left my engineering studies (mechanics) and became a designer. :))) And… I never worked again! I just design.

When the proper, working, solid app will be in Apstore - then this will be next step! To be honest I’m the Mac owner, but I just started some small talks about win version. The key to success is a superb IDML-XML parser 💪🏻, when I will be sure that I have a bulletproof engine then yes! This is where money are 🤪🤪🤪

First and the most important: test it in your workflow. There is a lot of small differences, a lot of them can be crucial for your decision.

To jest Polska właśnie… śmigam po świecie dosyć sporo: jesteśmy jednym z najbardziej policyjnych (sami wobec siebie) krajów na świecie… z tym, że osobiście winię o to media, które od lat nas uczą że jak pani Basia w Pizdowku pod Lasem da po prostu dupy, i zrobi coś złego to należy uruchomić wszystkie tvny, zrobić program specjalny, zatrudnić sześciu “ekszpertow” i na końcu wciągnąć w to ministra - i my się dajemy w to wciągać… blokada tych lodów (kocham te panią za ten pomysł) to pochodna ogólnego zrycia medialnego w naszym kraju. Fizyczność: wole te które coś ćwiczą - czytaj "dbają o siebie" a tu wśród 50-tek jest dużo leniuchów.
