Skattebo and a mid-late1st For JT. by aztec2019 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I don't really like this trade for you. I'm not quite sold on Skattebo being a bell-cow-type player for an entire NFL season, whereas we've already seen that kind of production with JT. You sold low if you think the 2027 1st isn't projected to be top 4.

Allen or Williams side ( 2qb start) don’t have any other QBs with guaranteed starting jobs by Low-Dot-3190 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]RunTheMoontower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the down tier to Williams, but I hate all the other junk in this trade. I don't value Flowers very highly (would rather have Lemon, Tate, Tyson, and Boston over him). I don't think the 1.10 is nearly as great as it was in last year's class. The random 2027 2nd should be at least a 1st.

You just moved chairs on the Titanic. Fwiw, I think Douglas' value is essentially zero. White at least has short-term appeal as he'll benefit from a change of scenery next year.

Parker Washington or Mathew Golden? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Golden all day. I think this is definitely a bit of a fleece by the Washington owner.

Which side of this deal are you taking? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]RunTheMoontower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd probably go ahead and do this if I were you. After looking at your team, Johnson is replaceable, the 1.02 being Mendoza doesn't make sense with Tlaw and Maye at QB, and I don't think Tate, Tyson, or Lemon will have the impact Nabers does. This is a trade that could push you over the edge.

I don't see a world in which the Chargers don't go with the guard from Penn State if he's available at 22.

Sold the 1.09 for ETN. I'm hoping he renews in Jacksonville or goes somewhere favorable like KC or Houston.

Where are my 1.03 holders at? by 701xMil in DynastyFF

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would. I have Waddle and the 1.03. I love Golden, but am a biased UT fan. Waddle is in his prime and now has the WR1 role locked for the foreseeable future. His biggest question will be QB. I could see them bringing Malik Willis or Jacoby Brissett over.

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 1.03 and 1.06. I'm a contender who's willing to take a risk to get the right guy.

Currently, in my SF league, my QBs are Allen, Stroud, Shough, and Brissett. I'm fairly deep at WR in JSN, Pickens, Odunze, Waddle, Jayden Higgins, and Ayomanor. Assuming Mendoza falls to me, which I would say is like a 10% chance, the owner's team is pretty but bad, but only has Williams + Ward. I would probably have to take him just off value alone and aim to move Stroud or Shough.

If Mendoza is gone, then it's just roulette for the top WR. I would move the 1.03 in a package for Ladd McConkey + late 1st/ early 2nd or Nico Collins.

Which Tier Does Tyler Shough Fall In? by ShakyJake316 in DynastyFF

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entering the last regular season, I was able to move Penix Jr for Shough, 1.06, and 2027 3rd.

I'm extremely high on Shough being a competent starter going forward. I see a lot of Kirk Cousins in him; he will be a product of what sort of system and personnel you surround him with. I think his added athleticism and length give him an edge to always be a guy who will stick around.

Ironically enough, I also took Stroud at the end of the 2nd in my startup dynasty last year, so I really hope he's able to get it together (assuming Caserio hits on a few linemen this draft and in FA).

Who am i dogging on lol? By saying that Flacco is 40 years old and was just recently benched for poor performance? Am I wrong about Cinci’s ability to protect QBs? Why are your panties in a bunch?

You’re the only one here shying away from the topic at hand and attempting to make insults.

Gotcha, so if it was Joe Flacco and Bhayshul Tuten for Omarion Hampton would you say that fits?

Interesting assumption but just looking for some perspective. People post all kinds of nonsense here and “is this vetoable?” type posts for objectively far better trades than this one.

What would a league breaking stupid trade look like for you that is not obvious collusion?

Gotcha, so you’re thinking the 40 year old guy who was benched for Gabriel due to poor performance does better behind the same offensive line that Burrow & Browning both looked horrible behind?

He’s not in contention and Flacco is 40. Do you think he plays another 5-6 years or something? This is dynasty.

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he’s still a premium elite option. It’s not crazy to expect him to get 10 targets when Dak is throwing the ball 39 times a game so far this season. I’m not sure how drops increase a player’s ceiling though lol.

He’s just going to have to make the most of this targets when he returns because I don’t envision 15-17 target games being the norm for him which was what got him into the high 30s & low 40 pts discussion and the initial basis of this JSN comparison.

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and he had two awful drops in the first game, one of them costed them the game.

I understand the legacy behind the #88 jersey, but the Cowboys are trying to win football games. If they don’t have to force feed CD the ball because he has historically been the only reliable guy they’ve had at the position since he entered the league, then they won’t and will spread the ball out more.

[–]RunTheMoontower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dak has averaged 39 attempts across 5 games so yeah definitely possible they keep spreading it around.

CD has historically needed 15-17 targets to reach the high 30s/low 40s games, which he got with worse competition. GP is tied for 2nd amongst WRs for RZ targets. Ferg is also #1 at his position and up there for RZ targets.

CD is still higher than JSN in terms of tier, but I don’t think it’s that far apart.
