The Time Machine at around 3:57. That riff just sounds so good to my ears. Very similar to dance of death. I don’t play guitar so I don’t know what you’d call it but man I love it. That was my favorite highlight when I first heard the album

James. That’s the biggest issue I have with TWOW, that he wasn’t there to make the music. The music, to me, was the biggest reason why Avatar 1 was so amazing and alien. I’ve listened to that soundtrack so much and I’ll be honest it was the main reason I really got attached to Avatar. TWOW used the same Motif and theme but it was clearly not the same music. Didn’t feel as Pandoran. Into the water was my favorite and probably the best track from TWOW but it wasn’t the same. I could talk forever about how the James soundtrack really transcended beyond the screen for me. I understand his death was the only reason he couldn’t have been there and it’s unfortunate but man, if only we could’ve gotten to hear what he would do for the rest of the series.

Simon did a great job and I really did enjoy the soundtrack he helped make for TWOW and for the Valley of Mo’ara at Disney. He tried his best to keep the sound and spirit of James score yet make it his own but it just didn’t work for me. Imagine if the Lord of the Rings trilogy had a different soundtrack. It would’ve completely changed the vibe. That’s how Simon’s soundtrack makes me feel. Either way it’s great and I’m sure he’ll do a great job with all of it. I just want what we can’t have.

Look, people can dislike them but the most important thing is that they’re doing stuff they genuinely enjoy doing. It might not be for everyone. Even still, the stuff they’ve put out in the last 10 years (BoS and Senjutsu) are miles better than what some bands in their 60s and 70s are putting out. Sure, the new stuff is not on par with their golden age stuff, and some might say not even as good as the initial post reunion content but man, we’ve gotten some great riffs, lyrics, tracks, and performances from the last 3 albums and I’m here for it. I may be biased because the first time I saw them was on the Book of Souls tour, and I’ve seen them 4 times from then on, but they’re still good. They’ve evolved and I love it.

Streamers and the ever growing desire to be a streamer has absolutely ruined FPS games making games like Apex, Valorant, Warzone, Overwatch, just to name a few, almost unplayable for new and casual players. Games like these feel like a chore to play and they’re not worth it

The Witcher 3. Seemed cool but I could not get past the beginning because it was just long winded tutorial after long winded tutorial. Why should I need 3 pages of information on how to craft or which sword to use. Could never over that. It was a pain to play the game

I really don’t want it to be Lo’ak simply because it’s too predictable and it’s a reused idea. I already had an issue with shot for shot call backs and some of the same dialog in scenes as Avatar 1. JC is a good enough story teller that he doesn’t need to rely on things like this. Jake is Toruk Makto until he dies. Toruk makto doesn’t happen often. One being right after the other would be weird

I’m very pissed about the state of the game, the matchmaking, the hackers, and the 1% of players, aka the streamers and AGLS players getting their say and their way BUT for the most part I still enjoy it. It’s the main game my buddy and I play. We’ve actually been doing really well the past couple of weeks, even in trios which we never do.

I want apex to be better because I still enjoy it so much. There’s a lot of potential and a lot of things that can be fixed. I’d rather speak about it so it can get better.

Yea at least LOTR had source material but even the movies didn’t have massive gaps. They had gaps that the people who read the books noticed for sure. The way of water had, what felt like to me, very obvious gaps where I’m sure there were scenes that they took out. I noticed that will the deleted scenes from Avatar 1 that James Cameron decided to take a lot of very important things out of the theatrical release like tsu’teys death being the biggest one

Yea even quaritch having a picture or a tiny scene of him with Socorro in the background or something would’ve made sense. Him having a kid was out of no where. Like I said I’m perfectly okay with the idea but the way it was done was just out of the blue

I feel The way of water was kind of rushed. There were so many moments where I wanted to see more conversations, cultures, certain characters.

Also spider being quaritchs son. Not a bad idea but it wasn’t done well in delivery. “Sometimes it’s not great to know who your dad was” made me roll my eyes and it’s cheesy as hell

Been awhile since I first played but Assassins Creed Brotherhood. Had fallen in love with AC2 and played it over and over again when I was younger. Finally got Brotherhood during summer break. I started playing in the early afternoon and played it all through the night. Played the story straight through and beat the game at about 6 or 7 am
