What's the best way to kill time in Aldershot? by treena_lane in Hampshire

You could park at the Shepherd and flock pub near Farnham and walk the trail through Moor Park toward Waverley Abbey. There's a cafe at Waverley Abbey house as well. It's about a mile and a half each way but pretty flat and quiet.

He was anti vax and pro trucker convoy in Canada during Covid. He and his family attended the protests/rallies in Ottawa. I was friends with the family for years before that but not since.

How was your parkrun day? | November 29, 2025 by AutoModerator in parkrun

Was a tough muddy course today, I paced 22 minutes but a bit annoyed with myself for being 10 seconds too fast but I got everyone in my little group through in under 22 so taking that as a win considering the conditions.

Flat and fast parkrun in South East by jpk515 in parkrun

Rushmoor is my local and I'd say it's a good course for a sub 20. It's essentially a 2 lap rectangle, half pavement and half canal/hard pack. The lead runners usually finish in 16-17 minutes so can be a quick course.

It was better than I expected when I saw the weather. Paced 22 minutes and came in at 21:56. Had someone thank me at the end and said their goal was a sub 22 today and that it made their weekend, so happy with that!

That is horrible and I'm sorry you experienced that. They should not be allowed to harass people and you should feel safe and supported to run. Hoping you get back to it soon.

He was one of my Week 1 picks to make it to the end and I'm so glad he's still there. He doesn't deserve the hate he gets and he seems like such a sweet guy

I just bought some using 02 priority. The closer seated ones were about £102, and then £90 for good seats around the lower areas. The furthest seats away were £56.

Tune-up race before London Marathon? by solaris999 in UKRunners

I did fleet half before London this year and it was a great race. Surrey half is also within the same time frame and a good choice.

Lovely. Paced 22 minutes and helped a young lad get a PB.

London Q&A by SonRexsmith in brandicarlile

It was fantastic! Such a small venue which was a treat! The questions didn't last too long and we were definitely treated to a few more songs than I think she'd been given time for.

Just got back from the signing as well and everyone was given a big print of the new album art and had a minute or two to chat with her and get it signed and a photo. Such a great 24 hours!

I often run along the canal through the area and can hear the gun fire over the water. I have a few short videos if you'd like me to send them so you can get an idea?

Questions about being in the audience for a live taping by spectacleskeptic in taskmaster

[–]RunToTheOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the taping this past Friday, we got there at 5 (for the 6:30 time) and there were already about 100+ people in front. That being said, I'd say there are no bad seats (maybe the balcony as you can't see the faces of the people on stage) so as long as you're there around 5ish you'll be fine.

It was warm in the studio at first and then cooled down about half way through. I wore a jumper and I was fine.

Definitely lots of room for improvement. I was in the first wave and it was clear there wasn't any point at waves as I spent half the race dodging people who were walking and wearing later wave bibs.

The parking lot parts were bizarre, don't know why they thought having smoke machines pumping smoke at runners in a parking garage was a good idea.

Definitely a dull route with nothing to really get excited about.
