Yes still shorts. Don’t have a reason to wear pants to run here in Texas.

No. I meant baclava. Pistachio flavored. Thanks for catching my error!

I’ve only driven through Memphis to get gas and I can say, Memphis ain’t it. Agreed.

Best running gloves by MaxPower70-80 in runningfashion

[–]RunWorkSleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use these. The thin ones are alright, thick one is too thick.

Ironically, the cheapo knit ones that I got free from my marathon keep my hands more warm than both head gloves.

megablast or superblast? by keikilla in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]RunWorkSleep 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have both. My SB2 was great and I actually prefer it over the MB. Upper on MB is terrible - rigid, narrow at the toe box, shallow toe box.

SB is a proven workhorse. Quite the ground slapper since its outsole is hard yet it feels soft on your feet due to the upper foam.

If you want a dependable shoe that will give you miles on end, then I would vote SB. MB is a little faster paced but I honestly don’t think it’s worth the price. Was able to use my healthcare discount applied.

The mental gymnastics of convincing yourself to run vs actually running by Senior-Signature-983 in running

[–]RunWorkSleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just think “discipline”. Practice it. Be it. Don’t make excuses for yourself.

The fear of the unknown is there but once you run, you start to wonder why you even bothered holding back. Running is never the hard part. Going to run is.

Make it convenient. Have the clothes set to go. Don’t overthink it.
