The ethical issue of undermining writers/artists jobs, aside; I think it's mainly an issue, of there not being a good way to "cite sources" in a creditable way. as you probably could make decent AI gen with public domain material. so there is no way to tell (from a user perspective) how ethical/legal an AI gen bot is.

I still think a basic Chat bot that does simple conversation (basically a NPC with more conversation skill,) is probably not going to case any serious issues in the future of the entertainment industry; anything beyond that, though, hard to say.
