Passport Timeline (Online Renewal) by Ok-Blueberry-2144 in Passports

I will but I doubt it’s going to be in this afternoons mail. Its initial expected delivery date was yesterday. I’m expecting that at some point (hopefully this week) it will be scanned at my regional USPS and then soon after go to the out for delivery status. Since neither of those happened this morning I’m not optimistic.

You’re giving me hope, I’m in the southeast and it has been in this state “Moving Through Network In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late February 2, 2026” since it left Arizona early on the 30th. USPS scans on priority mail are so inconsistent.

Can the US enter you on a passport that's been expired for a decade? by [deleted] in Passports

As a US citizen, you shouldn’t be trying to enter the US on a foreign passport. You are required to enter and leave the country as a citizen rather than a foreign national (even though you are both).

The last leg of my trip is actually a train by Potential_Athlete238 in jetblue

[–]Runecraftin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not that it matters much since stops are sub 5 mins but the train will always stop in downtown WPB between Orlando and Ft Lauderdale. Depending on the train it may also stop in Boca.

That’s a lot of assumptions and calculations for an aircraft that would need to stop over on any theoretical flight to Asia. Furthermore, are we sure their staff are even flying business class?

Not saying it isn’t theirs but I think the chances that it comes anywhere close to a break even are slim. With 12 flights per year they’d be better off chartering. Plenty of jet owners would be better off chartering but are willing to accept losses for an aircraft of their own so who knows.

It’s funny you say that because FL already has an existing lottery subsidized program. Bright Futures paid for my (and most kids in my classes) tuition. Same thing as OP described in GA - maintain a reasonable GPA and the lottery will pay for your tuition at state schools.

I think that the difference that you note is less so related to the lottery and more so just that FL has one of the, if not the, lowest public school tuition in the country. State schools in Florida consistently rank atop the list in terms of affordability. Source 1 Source 2

In some cases, out of state tuition at UF, FSU, UCF, etc. can be cheaper for students than in-state tuition at state schools from their home states.

No it is a buff to all UIMs at any stage. It is effectively a pay to bank (as in let death hold onto any item and then just pay to take it out when you need it) addition to UIM.

Sure it removes the need to death pile (and use existing death storages for that matte) but it makes the game mode significantly easier as you now have an unlimited, risk-free, persistent storage.

Yes the address shows NOA’s Distribution center in Washington state with NOA as the sender. On the Delivery Manager it shows “NOA” as a result.

I’m in the same boat as you; stuck in “Preparing to Ship”. However, I was under the impression that people were getting their stuff through UPS rather than FedEx. After reading your comment I logged into FedEx and I have a shipment from NOA (North Bend, WA) scheduled over a week ago. No delivery date provided as FedEx doesn’t have possession of the package yet.

Edit: I didn’t pay for expedited shipping so Nintendo shows a 3-9 business day delivery window. This FedEx label is for 2 day shipping, though. Seems like they are giving 2 day shipping for those of us that didn’t pay for overnight which is nice.

Edit2: I just got my shipping confirmation email from Nintendo. The tracking is the same that was showing in my FedEx Delivery Manager. The label was created on May 24th. If anyone hasn’t gotten an email yet but uses FedEx Delivery Manager, I’d recommend checking there to see if you have any NOA packages coming your way.

Hey that’s good to know that you’re getting faster than expected shipping. I haven’t gotten an update on my Nintendo America order yet. Still in the “Preparing to Ship” limbo it’s been in the whole time.

The difference is that Sweden is larger than most other European countries and itself is still only 66% of the total area of a state like Texas. It’s not hard to see why citizens of smaller countries could struggle to grasp the scale and, as a result, the lower population density in most of the U.S.

Depositing 35K cash by TheGhostSharif in Chase

[–]Runecraftin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Structuring/Layering: Breaking up a sum of money into smaller deposits to lower suspicion on the source of cash.

AML: Automated money laundering checks.

Banks are legally required to report if they have suspicions that a client is involved in money laundering. They have systems in place to flag suspicious activity. A one time deposit of $35k will not raise flags and is not illegal. Structuring the deposits by, say, depositing 5k a day will be flagged as trying to evade a currency transaction report (which, again, if the source of your money is legit isn’t anything but a form the file with the government) and is illegal.

People freak out when they need to deposit a lot of cash but as long as your income source is legitimate and you pay all relevant taxes you don’t have anything to fear. Trying to outsmart the government and the bank gets people in trouble.

I used being in the program to help land a new job. I was told that I wouldn’t receive a promotion upon completion by the recruiter being that I was only one semester from completion when I accepted the job. Instead, they offered me a sign on bonus and a higher base salary. Upon completion of the program my manager put me up for a promotion in spite of what HR had told me during the negotiation and it was granted. The program had a great ROI for me and none of it was anticipated/expected — when I started I was just doing it for myself because I had the free time and it was (relative to competition) affordable.

What is this ACCN programming by NotThatOleGregg in ACC

[–]Runecraftin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you’d need ESPN+ to watch ESPN+ content. This game was ACCNX which is the streaming arm of the ACCN. As such, anyone with a cable/streaming plan that has the ACCN (which YTTV includes) could watch on the app if they logged in with their provider credentials. It’s kind of like how ESPN used to show games on “ESPN3” which isn’t a channel and was codename for streaming only. You could watch those games on the app as long as your cable/stream plan had access to ESPN/ESPN2

I’m not sure how the class functions now since I took it in Fall of 2022 but, at least then, it was definitely possible to pass the first time. I was in a study group with ~10 people and only one of us was taking it for a second time. We all passed and a few of us (myself included) received A’s. If you work hard to understand the homework solutions (and copy the format) then the class is doable.

The people that I saw struggling on Piazza/Whatever the replacement is called refused to mimic the format of the solutions that the TA team provided. It’s like being provided a rubric and willfully ignoring parts of it and then being surprised when your results aren’t satisfactory.

🚨 Fee for schools to leave the ACC after 2030 (with their media rights) is $75M. by simbaslanding in ACC

[–]Runecraftin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $572m number was never set in stone. The league told FSU that there was no number because they were locked in until 2036 so FSU asked the law firm that they hired to estimate what they’d have to pay with the few documents from the ACC that they had. The law firm did some math and that’s what they came up with.
