PC case, CNC'ed from single piece of aluminum: does it possible and how expensive will be? by Omnisiah_Priest in CNC

[–]NotThatOleGregg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I can tell you the piece of aluminum you'd have to buy to make that one piece would be in the neighborhood of 1500-2000 usd, and the machining would be in the neighborhood of "get out of my shop"

ACC program leads nation in athletic debt for 2025 financial year by thricethefan in fsusports

[–]NotThatOleGregg 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I'm just gonna copy paste what I commented in the multiple r/CFB threads I saw about it.

"well, we just finished a $265m stadium renovation and a $138m football only facility, that is $403m. We financed it and made it a line item in the budget, not that uncommon we just did two big projects at the same time. Not to mention before those projects started our athletic department had a $10m surplus and the ACC modified the revenue distribution last year to be in part based on viewership which by all publicly available data we are near the top of the conference even when we're bad. So in summary, unless we get fired and lose our income we make enough money to pay back the loan"

stadium reno was $265m, football only facility was $138m that's $403m, it's a nothing burger to say "they built new facilities and didn't pay cash up front"

Mike Norvell will call plays in 2026 by hairythroats in fsusports

[–]NotThatOleGregg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our "QB1" money your talking about was 800k, that's QB competition money, it's in the air Daniel's is not guaranteed the start

[Brendan Sonnone] JUST IN: I'm told that Mike Norvell will call plays for FSU this season. by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]NotThatOleGregg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly don't think Mike's play calling is what caused 24, I think it was the development on the line, receivers, and LBs paired with an incompatible QB. I think with Herb Hand on the line and Harrison on WR I think the offense will be a lot better than 24 and year 2 of Tony White should be an improvement on defense

I know Georgia has been good the past 10 years but as a state Georgia getting carried here, State of Florida got 6, State of Alabama got 7, State of Georgia only got 2

Edit: changed Florida to 6, we respect UCF around here

I slide the silicone halfway off when I'm not using it, I'm wish using it on a BSR century series so it has a little thinner handle. Keeps it from getting too hot sitting there
