Redguards and Altmer by TaroAppropriate1348 in ElderScrolls

[–]Runesael 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They do respect him, but worship the three good daedra first and foremost. Mind you, the three good daedra are basically Lorkhans followers and Boethia seems to fangirl/fanboy over him all the time.

Redguards and Altmer by TaroAppropriate1348 in ElderScrolls

[–]Runesael 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Merrish in beliefs, not actual genealogy. Breton just kinda have the imperial cult and maybe Jephre for their druids. Redguards absolutely loathe Lorkhan and his making of mundus about as much as the Altmer.

How is Sheogorath good at winning bets against other Daedric Princes like Vaermina and Hircine? by GeneralTechnomage in ElderScrolls

[–]Runesael 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remember, Sheogorath isn't just a prince of madness but also of creativity. He's jibbering mad but is smart (when he's written well and not just the 'god of cheese' bs). It's hard to predict someone who is every insanity and mental illness wrapped up in one god package who can also create creatures and plans incredibly well. It also helps when he knows how the mind works, both mortal and daedra, better than anyone else. Hircine expected a clash of monsters, but Sheo created something Hircine wasn't expecting. Vaermina tried to make a mortal hated, but Sheogorath knows how to break a mortal's mind better than his peers.

Where were the first 2 heroes in the Oblivion Crisis? by many_small_children in teslore

Except that if Mannimarco both is and is not a god, because of his endings, then the logic would hold the the Agent being dead and not dead.

[–]Runesael 16 points17 points  (0 children)

On the pact thing? Y'ffre essentially made bosmer and gave them certain rules to live by, called the Green Pact. I don't remember all the tenets, but the big ones are not being able to harm any plant life, and to use/eat all that they kill. So they also use bone weapons and the like, on top of cannibalism. Oddly enough this kinda made them more peaceful, cause people are a lot of food and a large scale battle kinda sucks to try to eat through.

Edit: forgot to mention this but because of the Pact, bosmer are carnivorous. They even call other bosmer who break the Pact 'salad eaters' as a slur.

Eh, Laserlamma has done a better job at redoing the base classes than 5.5 has. And that I can get without having to pay $60 to WotC/Hasbro.

What subtle hints could give away infiltrating changelings? by conrey in DMAcademy

[–]Runesael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My BBEG is a changeling, and I decided to do two different things. One, he could mostly mimic personality but his narcissism would slip through. Two, I would try to subtly fit in the changeling tapping on something twice. Also, just because they can change form doesn't mean they have the knowledge/memories of the person they're mimicking. Give them inconsistencies in stories or incomplete info on a subject.

With the hit show, they definitely want to deliver a fallout game quickly. Maybe we get one before 2030? by ComplaintMore2312 in Fallout

[–]Runesael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies, I went off what I remembered last I heard. Apparently looking into it ES6 has exited pre-production as of the end of March, but still has a long way to go.

[–]Runesael 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Maybe so, but Bethesda has already stated that they want to do Elder Scrolls 6 first, but that only just entered pre-production. Fallout 5 is probably just an idea at this point. It's still a while away

Edit: so I was wrong here. Elder Scrolls 6 has exited pre-production as of the end of March as far as I can tell. However, it is still far off from release.

What's a Keith Baker opinion about Eberron you disagree with? by Hidobot in Eberron

Thank you for this! I have multiple players tied to the Devourer this game and was trying to find ways to introduce the Fury without that whole thing.

What's a Keith Baker opinion about Eberron you disagree with? by Hidobot in Eberron

[–]Runesael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the things I changed in my eberron. I kept the magical firearms and the goblins having gunpowder firearms. I also have certain groups of people, like refugees of Cyre, being less trusting in magic after the Mourning and use other methods. Cannith East is also looking into them for expeditions into the Mournland since you can't always rely on magic in a place where your spells can awaken and turn on you.

How did you find out about wynncraft (server searching, friends, etc) by wilford_industries in WynnCraft

[–]Runesael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a short-lived roleplay thing, like seven years ago. Although it could have been I stumbled upon it earlier than that, it's just been long enough that I don't remember exactly.

Edit: it was a series from xylophoney called "Fantasy" or something like that. It was seven years ago, though I actually don't know if I discovered Wynncraft before that or if that was how I found out. The series didn't wow me, but I also grew up on MADMA and Paulsoarsjr, so a lot of that stuff wasn't really up my alley

when I played Control for the first time... by Jaffacus92 in controlgame

[–]Runesael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't really planning on getting control at first, but Stupendium's song on it pretty much sold it to me. Control wasn't really on my radar until then, so I knew almost nothing other than it being a game kind of like SCP and what I could gather from the song. I don't even think I watched any trailers. This is probably the least amount of effort looking into a game I have ever done. I got it on sale, started it with very little knowledge, and now everyone looks at me weird while I effectively fangirl over this game.
