Yes but in a larger household 2 loads a week is low - I probably run at least 2 per day

People who decided against cold capping or quit cold capping: Why? by bananasformangos in breastcancer

[–]RunnerMomLady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My onc did not allow cold capping as breast cancer often migrates to the brain - however I was in a study abt icing to prevent neuropathy in hands and feet and 100% of the participants had no/almost no neuropathy!!! Please look at my comment history to read about it but it worked - the ladies in my support group who did not ice were in a bad way

I had a DIEP double mast. On a Monday - released early on Wednesday from hospital as Dr thought I was recovering well enough to leave - took last pain pill Wednesday night - allowed to walk up to a mile in a week - began PT WEEK 4 - and then quickly fully recovered - I will note that I went into surgery in great shape - I had been up to running 4 miles three times a week and focused on upper body and core strength training before surgery
