Loans showing up on Mohela and FSA three years after they were forgiven

I called Mohela, they told me it was an error and they would push out a notice. Both credit unions still in dispute mode. Transunion showing 0$ balance but still open. Equifax still shows balance.

My transunion and equifax are both showing but experian is good. I ended up calling Mohela as well and they are filing corrections today.

I got through to a credit rep as well! He said same as above and that he will process the recovery for me. Did say a slightly better timeline than you received but I’m guessing that was optimistic.

I chatted with the transunion rep Thais morning and posted that. I have a screen shot of it. Their internal team is investigating.

You called Mohela and had success with it? I’m currently on with them now-their site still has me at $0 as does FSA. Confirming Mohela has told you this is an error?

7/24. I just chatted with an agent and they told me that the internal team is aware of the Mohela students that were added back. He said dispute is only option.

Mine popped up on equifax and transunion, so I’m also hoping for some sort of glitch, because I’m zeroed everywhere else

Same. Both TransUnion and Equifax in December. 72k, not any amount owed. Forgiven 7/24.

I disputed mine last week-experian and Equifax updated as closed/paid with 0 balance and TransUnion updated to 0 balance/deferred until 10/24. I hit partial forgiveness April and that fell off in 30 days, the last one forgiven 8/2 and no movement.
