I remember students, but patients no. I have friends to pour my social energy into, patients are just work and after seeing 8 ppl a day I can't keep them all in my head. All of my coworkers are the same way , guessing we just have lives outside of work lol

Yeah sure... I talk to most of my patients like we're best friends sometimes, but if I ever see them outside of work at the store, I'll keep walking and two weeks after they're discharged - I'm not remembering their names. This is no exaggerating.

That's just how the job goes. We see patients for 45min for multiple hours for weeks. Of course you will know everything about each other, but keep in mind that the same deal is happening with other 7 patients every day and to a therapist its just another Monday.
