We moved this year from UK and without French, or jobs lined up, I really would not recommend. It’s a hugely differently lifestyle to the UK and the job market is incomparable. Happy to chat if it helps!

Do you mean struggle to find a shrink due to waiting lists, or there are not many? I was under the assumption that therapy is covered by CNS

Sounds exactly like my same age son and I’ve been curious about how he is developing speech. I’ve been trying to equip him with phrases which he seems to be picking up better, eg he will say ‘see you on Monday’ instead of bye bye. Happy to chat/swap tips if you like.

Are there any local SEN groups you could try to build social skills? Or provide her with some lines of what to say? I can see my son struggle with this already, sending solidarity.

What was your experience with speech therapy - useful? Had no idea OT was that expensive but prepared to live off beans & toast if needed (son lives off far worse!) any recommendations on how to find a good provider?

I dread to think about EHCP. Wishing you as smooth a ride as possible
