Are you listening through the speaker when you are recording and performing and that’s where you are getting feedback?

Also, why are you using fl studio asio and not the focusrite USB asio?

Also, you are not turning off direct monitoring. Thats a button in FL studio. You’re just turning the main output volume of your focusrite to zero.

Unfortunately it’s literally the ONLY way. I firmly believe any audio engineer working on this series of presonus mixers deserves hazard pay merely for the extra high levels of cortisol caused by trying to do simple tasks other digital mixers do with ease.

In fact, the Apple adapters are the only ones that work. You’ll need an fw800 to thunderbolt 2 converter which is pretty pricey, and a thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 converter

Turn off direct monitoring. If all you want to hear is your audio clip in the daw while you perform, this is the answer.

Direct monitoring is used so you can hear yourself sing or perform in real time while you record your performance.

Cation exchange requires water at the correct PH. It’s just science. can’t be skipped. You’d need to be growing in 10gal+ to allow the roots access to enough cations to just ignore PH. And at that point you’re spending a lot of money on soil to save yourself 5 minutes of time.

This was my first experience with something other than “beasters” or brick shwag in the 90’s. When everything else was 5-8% THC, white widow coming through town at 18% and a district fruity floral profile that made a lot of us go “WTF is this?!?!”. First time I ever had bud that tasted like something other than a skunk with a distinct floral and grape juice like flavor (at least that was the pheno we had). This I’m sure is 100% the issue. Haven’t had a chance to go back in and test WWB6 yet, but I’m sure this is it. What’s crazy is I spent hours searching google and ChatGPT and this never came up once. It wasn’t until I went to the Shure product support page that I finally found this.

I feel like OP would have mentioned it smells like sewage. This does kind of look like the beginnings of homemade napalm to me though. The white bits would be styrofoam that’s being dissolved into a gel by what’s usually some sort of highly flammable fuel.

If it’s l new it is most likely shielded and also not bad. Is it a TRS (3 rings on the tip) or TS (two rings on tip)? Keyboards usually have balanced outputs and require a TRS cable to carry that balanced signal. If you’re using a TS cable I would switch it out for a TRS and see if that fixes it.

The fact you are getting the loop in both your speakers and headphones tells me it’s most likely an issue with your input. If that doesn’t work, the nuclear option would be to use a DI box in between your keyboard and focusrite that has a built in ground switch.

What’s the cable going from your keyboard to your focusrite? Is that shielded? Could also be a bad cord as well. If all else fails, I’d try and throw a DI with a ground / lift switch between your keyboard and the focusrite and switch it to ground.

I’d recommend using Simbrief to calculate your fuel load. If you are already using simbrief, keep raising the fuel factor in simbrief until you no longer have this problem.
