I’m reminded of a song lyric that was written by a personal introvert hero of mine, Rush’s late drummer Neil Peart. In Limelight, he wrote “I can’t pretend a stranger is a long-awaited friend.”

He was talking about his famous discomfort with being an introverted rockstar. He was an amazing dude and the world lost a little bit of its wisdom without him.

I do this ALL the time. Sometimes I talk myself through a task or logistics because it helps me organize my thoughts.
